The Showrunner is a returning weapon to Destiny 2 in Season of the Witch. This is one of those deadly 900 rounds per minute SMGs, in a similar design to the deadly Funnelweb, although this one is Kinetic. How to get The Showrunner
To get this one you’ll want to focus Witch Engrams at the Ritual Table in the H.E.L.M. There is a sepcific focusing option called Recovered Red War Weapons, and the loot pool is relatively small, therefore getting The Showrunner from here shouldn’t take much time at all. It can also drop from seasonal activities including Altars of Summoning and Savathun’s Spire.
The Showrunner
The Showrunner is a Legendary Kinetic Submachine Gun with a Lightweight Frame meaning superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 15, Range 28, Stability 35, Handling 60, Reload Speed 27, Airborne Effectiveness 12, Rounds Per Minute 900, and Magazine 37.
We have a choice of origin traits for this one
- Vanguards Vindication – Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of health.
- Nadir Focus – Sustained fire increases accuracy and range. Increases lunge distance for Swords, and projectile velocity for Launchers.
The Showrunner god roll guide
For PVE Polygonal Rifling, Ricochet Rounds, Overflow and Kinetic Tremors would be good.
- Polygonal Rifling – Increases stability
- Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
- Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo automatically loads this weapon beyond normal capacity.
- Kinetic Tremors – Sustained kinetic damage to a target emits a shockwave that damages any nearby targets.
For PVP Smallbore, Ricochet Rounds, Dynamic Sway Reduction and Target Lock would be good.
- Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
- Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
- Dynamic Sway Reduction – Improves accuracy and stability while continuously holding down the trigger.
- Target Lock – Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target.
