If you’ve started the Data Reconstruction contract for NuCaloric, you’ll immediately see it’s not a straightforward quest—there’s more than just finding a location and pressing a button. You’ll travel across several maps and complete specific tasks. If you’re unsure where to go, it’s easy to waste runs or lose your progress at the end. In this guide, I’ll walk you through all three parts of Data Reconstruction step by step. I’ll show you exactly where to go and share some key tips so you can finish the contract efficiently without losing.

Data reconstruction part 1 (Perimeter walkthrough)

The first part of this contract happens on Perimeter. The good news is you don’t have to finish it all in one run, so you can take your time and play it safe.

Your goals here are to scan bioprinters and download a report, but the exact spots can be easy to miss if you’re not sure what to look for.

Scan Sparkleaf bioprinters in South Relay

Start by heading to South Relay in the bottom-right of the map. You’re looking for two Sparkleaf bioprinters inside this compound. The first one is easy to find. It’s in the northernmost building, between white partitions on the west side of the room.

The second one is a little harder to spot. Go to the southeast building and enter from the north side. You’ll see a staircase on your left, but skip it. Walk through the doorway in the far corner to find a small storage room under the stairs. That’s where you’ll find the second bioprinter.

Next, rotate over to Overflow and head into the main building. Both of the fungal bioprinters are located on the second floor. The first one is in the northeast corner of the floor. Look for a stack of shelves; the bioprinter is sitting right on top. The second one is in the southwest corner, inside a lab-style room across from the staircase. When you walk in, you’ll see it on your left.

Download the agricultural report in North Relay.

Once you’ve scanned all four bioprinters, your final step is to head to North Relay and download the agricultural report. But there’s a catch: the building needs power before you can use the terminal.

Enter through the large blue doors on the south side of the building, turn right, and head through the next doorway. You’ll find the power switch on the wall. Flip that first.

Next, go up to the second floor and look for a red terminal near the southeast corner. Use it to finish part one.

Data reconstruction part 2 (Dire Marsh walkthrough)

For part two, you’ll need to load into Dire Marsh, so make sure you select the correct map before dropping in. This part is more straightforward, but it’s still risky if there are many players or AI enemies around.

Download harvest logs in Algae Ponds.

Start at Algae Ponds and head to the compound’s largest building. Climb onto the tanker outside, break the upper window, and go straight to the second floor. The terminal is right in front of you on a desk. Interact with the terminal to download the harvest logs, then proceed to AI Uplink.

Hack data repositories in AI Uplink

Now head to AI Uplink and make your way to the long catwalk that connects both sides of the area. Along this catwalk, you’ll find three terminals attached to the central pillars. These are the data repositories you need to hack. Walk along the bridge and use all three terminals. This area can be busy with other players, so stay alert.

Data reconstruction part 3 (One run only, full route)

This is where things get tougher. This is where things get let in a single run, and you must successfully extract at the end. If you die or fail to exfil, your progress resets, and you’ll need to do it again.

Hack exterior data repositories (North or South Relay)

You need to hack two data repositories, and you can choose between North Relay or South Relay depending on your spawn. Each has two repositories. Commit to one area and clear both there.

In North Relay, you’ll find them on the far east and west sides among the data tower grids. One is near the parking bay, and the other is closer to the southwest section. In South Relay, they’re located in the northeast and southwest areas, again hidden among the coloured data towers. Choose the safest route based on your spawn and avoid unnecessary fights.

Download the AI maintenance protocol in Haulier.

Once you’ve hacked two repositories, head straight to Haulier on the west side of the map. This area is full of UESC enemies, so move carefully. Don’t push ahead too fast. The terminal you need is on the second floor, near the southwest corner, inside a small room with red lighting. Follow the western walkway, and you’ll find it partway along.

Interact with the terminal to download the AI maintenance protocol.

Exfil safely (Do not rush this)

Now comes the most important part: extraction. At this point, you’ve done all the hard work, so don’t risk it by rushing into a bad extraction.

If your closest extraction point seems risky, wait. More extraction points will open as the match goes on, and being patient can be the difference between finishing and having to start over. Be smart, get out safely, and you’ll finish the last part.rt.

Finishing Data Reconstruction gives you good rewards for each stage: backpacks, shields, self-revives, materials, credits, and faction intel. Even more important, this contract helps you progress with NuCaloric, unlocking better gear and new systems as you get closer to the endgame.

First, split part one into several runs if you need to. There’s no need to rush.

Second, focus on your movement and positioning in part two, especially at AI Uplink, where players often gather.

For part three, treat it as a high-stakes run. Avoid extra fights, plan your route, and always have a backup extraction.
