Wishful Ignorance Strand Titan Build in Destiny 2

Wishful Ignorance are Strand Exotic gaunlets for Titans and they are surprisingly good for a classic melee build. Today I am going to check out Wishful Ignorance, the strand subclass setup, weapon and mods, and I’ll put together a good PVE build plus talk about why it’s good and the gameplay loop in Destiny 2.

Gameplay loop

The gameplay loop for this one is pretty simple, it’s all about melee so you’ll want to punch enemies in the face. Wishful Ignorance gives you benefits when you are in a team and helping allies with Banner of War, and as you strike enemies you’ll get bonus melee energy and improved damage. The more allies you heal, the faster you’ll get back your melee charges, plus Wishful Ignorance also gives you an extra charge, meaning you’ll be about to use your strand blades to carve up enemies.

Be Near Allies
Attack Enemies with Grapple Melee attack
Throw the Tangle that was just generated
Make Sure Allies are in Banner of War
Hit Enemies with Frenzied Blade
Rinse and Repeat the Process

Wishful Ignorance combined with Thread of Generation help get grenade energy back quicker, given the fragment’s ability to generate grenade energy. This combined with Banner of War also helps get melee energy back too. Grab that Tangle and throw at enemies as much as possible because you’ll get more melee energy back too thanks to Thread of Fury. Picking up orbs of power also provide you woven mail, and combined with Banner of War, you are going to be difficult to kill.

Exotic Amor

Wishful Ignorance are Exotic Titan Gauntlets and come with the exotic perk Wish-Dragon’s Talons. Gain an additional Frenzied Blade charge. Frenzied Blade and Flechette Storm briefly increase their damage with each strike. Pulses from your Banner of War return melee energy based on the number of allies healed.

Strand Subclass Setup

Super – Bladefury

Create two woven blades and roam the battlefield. While active: Light Attack – Perform a leaping slash towards nearby targets, severing them on hit and dealing bonus damage to suspended targets. Each successful hit briefly increases your attack speed and grants energy for your heavy attack. Heavy Attack – Unleash a heavy upward slash, creating two suspending projectiles that seek out targets.

Class ability – Rally Barricade, Creates a small barrier that you can peek over while aiming down sights; increases weapon reload speed, stability, and range. Draws hostile fire when you stand behind it.

Melee – Frenzied Blade, Activate your charged melee ability to dash forward, slashing at targets in front of you and severing them.

Grenade – Grapple, Weave a grappling hook, and quickly pull yourself forward. Grappling to a Tangle immediately recharges your grenade energy.

Apects

Banner of War

Defeat a target with a melee attack, finisher, or Sword to raise a Banner of War that pulses with energy, periodically healing nearby allies and increasing melee and Sword damage. Targets defeated by you and nearby allies charge the banner, increasing the speed of its pulses.

Fletchette Storm

While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to leap into the air, knocking nearby targets away and dealing damage. While airborne, activate your charged melee again to launch a cluster of damaging, Unraveling projectiles. Repeatedly activating melee will chain additional throws.

Fragments

Thread of Ascent – Activating your grenade ability reloads your equipped weapon and grants bonus airborne effectiveness and handling for a short duration.

Thread of Fury – Damaging targets with a Tangle grants melee energy.

Thread of Generation – Dealing damage generates grenade energy.

Thread of Warding – Picking up an Orb of Power grants Woven Mail.

Weapons

Quicksilver Storm (Exotic Auto Rifle)

Quicksilver Storm is an Exotic Kinetic Auto Rifle. It comes with the perks:

Rocket Tracers – Landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-rocket.
Grenade Chaser – Landing multiple rockets loads a grenade. Switch into Grenade Launcher mode.

You can get this one after the Lightfall campaign on Neomuna.

Indebted Kindness (Rocket Sidearm)

Indebted Kindness is a Legendary Energy Sidearm with a Rocket-Assisted Frame means sidearm fires self-propelled rocket ammunition. Projectiles explode on impact for high damage. This is going to get the benefits of the rocket boost to damage from Hazardous Propulsion.

Pro Memoria (Heavy Machine Gun)

Pro Memoria is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with an Aggressive Frame meaning high damage, high recoil. The Origin Trait here is Dealer’s Choice. Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of Super energy. Equipping multiple weapons from the Pale Heart increases this effect. You can get this one from the Pale Heart of the Traveler.

Mods

Head
Heavy Ammo Scout – When one of your ammo finder perks creates a brick of Heavy ammo for you, it also creates bricks of Heavy ammo for your allies.
Heavy Ammo Finder – Increases the drop chance of Heavy ammo upon defeat of an opponent.
Harmonic Siphon – Spawns an Orb of Power upon scoring 2 Kills within ? seconds of each with a Weapon matching your Super Element.

Arms
Impact Induction – Causing damage with powered melee improved grenade recharge rate
Heavy Handed – Powered melee creates orbs of power

Chest
Strand Resistance – Reduces incoming Strand damage from combatants.
Font of Endurance – You gain a bonus to resilience while you have any Armor Charge. Your Armor Charge now decays over time.
Harmonic Resistance – Reduces Incoming PVE Combatant Damage matching your Subclass Element by 15% (per mod)

Legs
Strand Weapon Surge x2 – Your Strand weapons gain a small bonus to damage while you have any Armor Charge. Your Armor Charge now decays over time.
Recuperation – Replenishes health each time you pick up an Orb of Power.

Class item
Bomber – Reduces grenade cooldown when using your class ability.
Reaper – Shortly after using your class ability, your next weapon final blow spawns an Orb of Power.
Time Dilation – Your decaying Armor Charge has a longer duration.
