The story content is finished in Season of the Wish, but that doesn’t mean this season is over. In the next few weeks and months we have some new additions, including Riven’s Wishes. Today I want to dive into Riven’s Wishes in more detail, what they are, how to access them plus what rewards are on offer this week in Destiny 2.

What are Riven’s Wishes?

Starting on January 30th, Riven’s Wishes have been added into the game. These are a series of challenges which result from an arrangement between Mara Sov and Riven herself. You can get rewards from challenging objectives on The Dreaming City. These objectives could be completing a Legend Lost Sector or a Dungeon. Once you complete this weekly objective, you’ll get a Wish Token and you can trade the Wish Token for a reward.

How to to access Riven’s Wishes?

Mara Sov is your access to Riven’s Wishes. Go and speak to her each week, and she’ll give you your weekly objective. Once you’ve completed it, go back to Mara and turn in your Wish Token.

What rewards can you get?

We have 3 categories of reward; Last Wish Raid Weapons, Lightfall Exotic Armor and Cosmetics/Currency.

Last Wish Weapons

For the Last Wish weapons, they are red border weapons, meaning you can extract the Deepsight and get the patterns for these weapons, so you can craft your own.

Techeun Force Fusion Rifle

There are a couple of good options there. Apex Predator is probably the best rocket launcher in the game right now, so it’s worth getting the pattern for that and crafting your own version. Techeun Force is also a decent Fusion Rifle and worth picking up.

Lightfall Exotic Armor

Choose a piece of Lightfall year Exotic armor.

Riven’s Wishes will offer new quests for six weeks, but you’ll have time to complete them and earn rewards up through The Final Shape’s release.
