This Prismatic Titan build is going to help you stay alive, while helping you dish out huge amounts of damage to enemies. This charges up your super nice and quickly, plus you’ll be taking advantage of Prismatic and your abilities. Today I’m going to tell you why this build is good, the gameplay loop plus how to put the Prismatic Titan build together in Destiny 2.
Why this build is good
This is a great build due to it’s power in keeping you alive. It’s also a decent showcase for Prismatic with quick super regeneration, plus you’ll be using your abilities all over the place to delete enemies from your path.
Thunderclap is a great melee here given the damage reduction buff it received, up to 30% when fully charged. Facet of Protection is adding to the damage reduction, plus we’re using amplified too. Using amplified together with Prismatic gives great damage reduction, and all of these things add up to a very hard to kill Titan.
The Titan Super Twilight Arsenal takes center stage in the build, it’s a whole load of fun plus it does good damage and weakens enemies. Paired with Facet of Purpose then you’re going to get an overshield when picking up an orb of power. It’s easy to make orbs through Thunderclap, so it’s easy to have an overshield pretty much all the time. Throw in Buried Bloodline, the Exotic Sidearm from Warlords Ruin and you are onto a winner here.
Gameplay Loop
Throw Shackle Grenade
Thunderclap Suspended Enemies
Throw Diamond Lance at next group
Grab Orb of Power
Thunderclap Frozen enemies
Repeat
Use Transcendent often
Use Super often
Exotic Armor
Insurmountable Skullfort is an Exotic Titan Helm.
Transfusion Matrix – Final blows with Arc melees trigger health regeneration and fully restore a melee charge. Melee hits grant Arc melee energy.
Prismatic Subclass setup
Super – Twilight Arsenal, Summon three Void axes and throw them at your foes one after another. On impact, the axes pull in nearby targets and detonate in a weakening explosion. After exploding, the axes can be picked up by you or your allies and used as a weapon for a short time.
Class ability – Rally Barricade, Creates a small barrier that you can peek over while aiming down sights; increases weapon reload speed, stability, and range. Draws hostile fire when you stand behind it.
Melee – Thunderclap, hold while grounded to plant your feet and begin charging your fist with Arc energy. Release to unleash a devastating blast in front of you, dealing damage that increases with longer charge time.
Grenade – Shackle Grenade, A thrown weapon of weighted Strand matter that detonates on impact, suspending targets and creating additional suspending subprojectiles.
Aspects
Knockout – Critically wounding a target or breaking their shield infuses your melee attacks with Arc energy and increases your melee range and damage for a short time. Defeating targets with melee attacks makes you amplified and restores a portion of your health. Defeating more powerful combatants increases the amount of health restored.
Diamond Lance – Shatter or defeat targets with abilities or [Stasis] Stasis weapons to create a Stasis lance.
Fragments
Facet of Courage – Light abilities deal 10% increased damage to enemies affected by Stasis or Strand elemental debuffs.
Facet of Justice – While transcendent, your ability final blows explode.
Facet of Protection – While surrounded by combatants, you are more resistant to incoming damage. While transcendent, the effect is increased.
Facet of Purpose – Picking up an Orb of Power grants either Bolt Charge, Restoration, Frost Armor, Woven Mail, or Overshield based on the damage type of your equipped Super.
Facet of Ruin – Increases the size and damage of the burst when you shatter a Stasis crystal or frozen target, and increases the area of effect of Solar ignitions.
Weapons
Rufus’ Fury
Rufus’s Fury is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle with a rapid-Fire Frame meaning deeper ammo reserves, plus it deals Strand damage. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. I’m using any Strand weapon here to help build transcendence for Prismatic. You can get this from the Root of Nightmares raid on Neomuna.
Buried Bloodline
Buried Bloodline is an Exotic Energy Sidearm and it comes with the exotic perks.
- Hungering Quarrel – Double fires tracking bolts. Landing bolts leeches health from the target.
- Violent Reanimation – Multiple final blows with this weapon grant Devour to the wielder.
To get this one you’ll need to beat the final boss of Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon, and Buried Bloodline can drop as a reward.
Pro Memoria
Pro Memoria is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with an Aggressive Frame meaning high damage, high recoil. Pro Memoria is a guaranteed drop from the Convalesence quest after you complete the Final Shape campaign.
