Veiled Threat is a new Vex themed auto rifle added to Destiny 2 in Echoes. This is a stasis auto rifle which has some potent rolls for both PVE and PVP. Today I’m going to check out the weapon, the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Veiled Threat in Destiny 2.
How to get Veiled Threat
To get Veiled Threat you’ll want to take part in Echoes activities including Breach Executable, which can be launched from the H.E.L.M. once you complete the intro quest for the Episode. Once you get it to drop once, you’ll then be able to focus Echoes Engrams at Failsafe in the H.E.L.M. for additional rolls. Veiled Threat is also craftable, meaning you’ll need to extract 5 red borders to get the pattern, then you’ll be able to craft your very own version of Veiled Threat at the Enclave on Savathun’s Throne World.
Veiled Threat
Veiled Threat is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning it has deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats Impact 18, Range 27, Stability 52, Handling 42, Reload Speed 49, Airborne Effectiveness 20, Recoil 45, Rounds Per Minute 720 and Magazine 50.
The Origin Trait for this one is Radiolaria Transposer. Rapid final blows cause targets to explode into a pool of radiolarian fluid.
Veiled Threat god roll
For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Shoot to Loot and Headstone would be good.
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
- Shoot to Loot – Shooting an Orb of Power picks it up. Shooting an ammo brick picks it up and automatically reloads all of your equipped weapons from reserves.
- Headstone – Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim’s location.
For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds, Fragile Focus and Desperate Measures would be good.
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Fragile Focus – This weapon gains bonus range until your shield is destroyed. The bonus returns once your shield has regenerated to full strength.
- Desperate Measures – Weapon final blows grant bonus damage. Melee and grenade final blows grant a larger damage bonus that can stack.
