Syncopation-53 is a new stasis Pulse Rifle added to the game in the Witch Queen expansion. This is one of the most versatile pulse rifles in the game and today I’m going to check out the weapon in more detail, looking at the stats and perks, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP plus how to get Syncopation-53 in Destiny 2.

Syncopation-53 is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with an Adaptive Frame meaning a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 29, Range 51, Stability 63, Handling 51, Reload Speed 48, Rounds Per Minute 390 and Magazine 36.

Given it’s an adaptive frame, this is going to be very good in PVE activities. It’s also a stasis, kinetic weapon meaning you will be able to clear a bunch of enemies if you are lucky enough to get the right perks on the pulse rifle. This is also an underrated weapon in PVP given its lethality at medium to long-range.

Syncopation-53 God Roll Guide

For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Appended Magazine, Outlaw and Headstone would be a decent roll.

• Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
• Appended Magazine – Increases magazine size
• Outlaw – Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
• Headstone – Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim’s location.

For PVP Smallbore, High-Caliber Rounds, Moving Target, and Rangefinder would be good.

• Smallbore – Increases range and stability
• High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
• Moving Target – Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.
• Rangefinder – Aiming this weapon increases its effective range and zoom magnification.

How to get Syncopation-53

The Syncopation-53 Pulse Rifle is a world drop weapon, meaning you can get it from loads of activities in the game like Strikes, Crucible, Gambit matches and other activities like public events. You can also pick this weapon up from vendors when they are selling it, and Banshee-44 is worth checking out because he’s sold it a few times already this season, plus you could get a very decent roll from Banshee-44.

Syncopation-53 is also a craftable weapon. You can get the pattern for this by completing The Shaping: Extraction quest. This is unlocked shortly after you craft your Glaive in the Witch Queen campaign, and it’s all about teaching you how to extract Deepsight Resonance from weapons. To complete this quest you have to find the Deepsight Resonance weapons, attune the weapons through levelling and then extract the Deepsight Resonance. Once you’ve done this return to the enclave and use the relic, and you’ll unlock the pattern for Syncopation-53.
