The Mida Macro-Tool is a new shotgun added to Destiny 2 in Ash & Iron. It’s the first time we’ve had a new weapon in the Mida series for a long time, plus this is a versatile shotgun, which is likely going to be very popular in PVP. Today I’m going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get Mida Macro-Tool in Destiny 2.

How to get Mida Macro-Tool

To get this one you’ll want to play Crucible Ops, it’s part of the pool of weapons that can drop randomly from the end of PVP matches. You can also get it from Prime Engrams and other legendary engrams. Make sure to check your postmaster, as that’s where I found mine.

Mida Macro-Tool

Mida Macro-Tool is a Legendary Energy Shotgun and comes with the attribute MIDA Synergy. This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. When MIDA Multi-Tool is equipped, this weapon grants additional speed benefits and final blows grant modification progress to MIDA Multi-Tool.

Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 59, Stability 42, Handling 36, Reload Speed 42, Rounds Per Minute 65, Magazine 5.

The MIDA Macro-Tool has a few perks that make it moderately useful in PvE, but its real appeal shines in PvP. It continues the tradition of Precision Frame shotguns that can roll with Threat Detector and Opening Shot, while being much easier to acquire than similar options.

For PvE, the Macro-Tool serves as a reliable utility shotgun, capable of the tried-and-true Grave Robber + One-Two Punch combo. While this roll isn’t unique, the Precision Frame archetype makes it slightly less effective compared to other shotguns in the same category. Even so, it remains a strong and dependable choice when you get those perks.

In PvP, however, the weapon stands out. Having easy access to Threat Detector + Opening Shot makes it a top-tier option, as this combination is arguably the best roll possible for competitive play. Additionally, it can also roll Slideshot, which some players may prefer for its extended range over faster handling.

For PVE Barrel Shroud, Assault Mag, Grave Robber, One-Two Punch, Masterwork Range

• Barrel Shroud – Increases stability, Increases handling speed
