How to get Slayer’s Fang
To get this one you’ll want to complete the Exotic mission Kell’s Fall, and you’ll be rewarded with the Slayer’s Fang as a drop at the end of the mission.
Slayer’s Fang
Let’s check out the exotic perks
- Nightsworn Sight – Dealing final blows to targets grants Nightsworn Sight. During that time, final blows grant Truesight, ammo slowly reloads from reserves, and submunitions weaken targets.
- Heart Piercer – Rounds from this weapon shatter into submunitions on impact. Strong against Overload Champions.
This shotgun is going to be pretty interesting when it comes to PVP, given Nightsworn Sight enables truesight. Given this is a void shotgun we have some synnergy with the void subclass here, not only the obvious choice of Void Hunters, but also given the weaken element too. This one slowly reloads over time, so it’s going to be pretty useful in PVE as well as PVP.
Slayer’s Fang Catalysts
Slayer’s Fang has 4 catalysts available, and they will unlock over the weeks after the initial release of Kell’s Fall.
Here’s what we can expect from the exotic catalysts for Slayer’s Fang.
- Repulsor Brace: Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an overshield.
- Stats For All: Hitting three separate targets increases weapon handling, stability, reload, and range for a moderate duration.
- Cascade Point: Final blows or sustained precision hits with another weapon increase this weapon’s rate of fire for a short duration.
- Loose Change: Applying an elemental debuff to a target increases this weapon’s reload speed, aim assist, and movement while aiming down sights for a short duration.
Let me know what you think about Slayer’s Fang and let me know which catalyst you’re looking forward to the most.
