Persuader is back once again in Destiny 2, this is a decent sniper and maybe it’s third time lucky for this one that returns with it’s void damage in the 140 RPM archetype. The perks have been updated, this time seeing it lean into the elemental nature of the energy sniper. Today I’m going to have a closer look at the stats, perks and god rolls for PVP and PVE, plus how top get Persuader in Destiny 2.

How to get Persuader

To get this one you’ll want to focus Witch Engrams at the Ritual Table in the H.E.L.M. There is a sepcific focusing option called Recovered Red War Weapons, and the loot pool is relatively small, therefore getting Persuader from here should be easy. It can also drop from seasonal activities including Altars of Summoning and Savathun’s Spire.

Persuader

Persuader is a Legendary Energy Sniper Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning it has Deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 55, Range 32, Stability 35, Handling 63, Reload Speed 57, Airborne Effectiveness 2, Rounds Per Minute 140 and Magazine 5.

We have a choice of origin traits for this one

Vanguards Vindication – Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of health.
Nadir Focus – Sustained fire increases accuracy and range. Increases lunge distance for Swords, and projectile velocity for Launchers.

Persuader God Roll Guide

For PVE Smallbore, Tactical Mag, Rapid Hit and Precision Instrument.

• Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
• Tactical Mag – Slightly increases stability, Increases reload speed, Slightly increases magazine size
• Triple Tap – Rapidly landing precision hits will return one round to the magazine.
• Precision Instrument – Dealing sustained damage increases precision damage.

It’s also worth giving Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds a go if you want to lean more into the void nature of the Sniper.

For PVP Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Keep Away and Opening Shot.

• Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
• Accurized Rounds – Increased range
• Keep Away – Increases reload, range, and accuracy when no targets are in close proximity.
• Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.
