Gridskipper is a returning Pulse Rifle added to Destiny 2 in Episode Revenant. Originally introduced in Season of the Splicer, it returns in Episode Revenant and it’s very easy to get. Today I am going to look at the weapon, the stats, the god rolls to chase for PVE and PVP plus how to get Gridskipper in Destiny 2.
How to get Gridskipper
To get this one you have to take part in Tomb of Elders, Contest of Elders or Onslaught Salvation. You can access these via the Last City as part of Episode Revenant. It’s a random drop from the activity or you can focus by using Tonics with Eido. You’ll need to level up Legendary tonics, then you’ll be able to focus farm Gridskipper.
Gridskipper
Gridskipper is a Legendary Energy Pulse Rifle. This one is a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning Deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty. Looking at the weapon stats we have Impact 23, Range 40, Stability 52, Handling 34, Reload Speed 42, Rounds Per Minute 540, and Magazine 34.
The Origin Trait is Slicer’s Surge. Reloading this weapon after dealing damage grants the weapon a stacking reload speed and handling bonus until stowed.
Gridskipper god roll guide
For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Repulsor Brace, Destabilizing Rounds, Masterwork Reload
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
- Repulsor Brace – Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an overshield.
- Destabilizing Rounds – Final blows cause nearby targets to become volatile.

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, High-Caliber Rounds, Zen Moment, Headseeker, Masterwork Range
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
- Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon reduces recoil and flinch over time.
- Headseeker – Body shots landed with this weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time. Body shots landed while the perk is active refresh the time.
