Fortunate Star is the new Bow added to Destiny 2 via Solstice in Episode Echoes. This is a lightweight void bow, and it’s very easy to get due to Solstice being very generous with it’s loot. If you like lightweight bows, this is available until the end of Solstice, so today lets have a look at the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Fortunate Star in Destiny 2.
How to get Fortunate Star
To get Fortunate Star you’ll want to take part in Solstice acitivites. The introduction quest for Solstice rewards Fortunate Star, so speak to Eva Levante in the Tower and run through that quest. It’s all very straight forward, chat to Eva, complete Bonfire Bash, pick up some bounties, follow the quest instructions and you’ll be fine.
Bonfire Bash is also very generous when it comes to dropping loot, so you are going to be downing in Solstice weapons, including Fortunate Star. You can launch Bonfire Bash from the Tower menu, or when you are in the Tower, there’s something to interact with next to Eva Levante.

Fortunate Star
Fortunate Star is a Legendary Energy Combat Bow with a Lightweight Frame meaning you can draw quickly and move faster while this weapon is equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 68, Accuracy 34, Stability 59, Handling 65, Reload Speed 60, Recoil 59, and Draw Time 612.
The origin trait is:
- Dream work – Once per reload, assists or assisted final blows partially refill the weapon from reserves and increase reload speed for a short duration. Bows receive faster draw time.
- Veist Stinger – Damaging an enemy with this weapon has a small chance to reload the magazine and increase movement speed while aiming down sights. Bows receive faster draw speed and swords receive faster charge rate while this perk is active.
