Fortissimo-11 is a new Vanguard Shotgun added to the game as part of the Witch Queen expansion. This is a vicious slug shotgun, with huge potential in both PVE and PVP. Today I am going to check out the weapon in more detail, dive into the stats, perks, god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE plus look at how to get Fortissimo-11 in Destiny 2.

Fortissimo-11 is a Legendary Kinetic Shotgun with a Pinpoint Slug Frame meaning it fires a single-slug round. This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 65, Stability 51, Handling 60, Reload Speed 55, Rounds Per Minute 65 and Magazine 5.

This shotgun is similar to the First In, Last Out Shotgun. Both Suros Slug shotguns, although Fortissimo has a much larger perk pool, which can be an advantage or disadvantage. It does mean it’s flexible and you can get different rolls for different playstyles, however, because of the large perk pool, the chances of getting the one you want is very slim.

This one has a couple of origin traits, which can be switched, depending on which game mode you are going into.

• Vanguard’s Vindication – Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of health
• Suros Synergy – Reloading grants this weapon bonus handling and reduces incoming flinch for a short time

Fortissimo-11 God Roll Guide

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Assault Mag, Demolitionist and Vorpal Weapon would be good.

• Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil and increases handling speed
• Assault Mag – Greatly increases stability and increases the rate of fire
• Demolitionist – Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
• Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active

For PVP Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Perpetual Motion and Opening Shot would be a good roll.

• Smallbore – Increases range and stability
• Accurized Rounds – Increases range
• Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion
• Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of the attack

How to get Fortissimo-11

To get this shotgun you have to run strikes, as this is a specific drop from the strike playlist. When you complete a strike you have the chance for this weapon to drop. This also includes Nightfalls too, so if you’re lucky you can double up on weapons when you run nightfalls. This is the only place you can get the weapon at the moment. Fortissimo-11 isn’t the only weapon in that loot pool, so you may have to run a few strikes to get it to drop for you.
