Afterlight is a Fusion Rifle added to Destiny 2 in Episode Heresy. This one comes with some powerful damage perk combinations, and it’s a void fusion too, which is great for void builds. Today I’m going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Afterlight in Destiny 2.

How to get Afterlight

To get Hardlight, you’ll want to run the activity Court of Blades in Episode Heresy. This can be accessed from the Last City via the Director and it’s a random drop from the end, once you defeat the final boss. To get an adept version of the weapon you’ll want to run the Expert version of Court of Blades, and you can select the difficulty when you start the activity. You can also get this from The Nether activity too, plus you can focus farm the weapon with the Tome of Want found in your inventory.

Afterlight

Afterlight is a Legendary Energy Fusion Rifle with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 31, Stability 39, Handling 31, Reload Speed 39, Charge Time 660, and Magazine 6.

We have a choice of Origin Traits with Willing Vessel and Runneth Over.

Willing Vessel – Dealing damage or defeating targets with this weapon gradually grants increased stability, handling, reload speed, and charge rate. This effect gradually decreases over time but is gained more quickly while near allies.

Runneth Over – Reloading near allies overflows the magazine. Bows receive faster draw time and Swords receive faster charge rate.

Afterlight is a devastating Fusion Rifle with the right perks. This one can roll with Reservoir Burst and Discord. Discord gives a silly amount of ammo and Reservoir Burst gives that 25% damage bonus meaning this is a monster in PVE.

For PVE Fluted Barrel, Accelerated Coils, Discord, Reservoir Burst, Masterwork Charge Time

• Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
• Accelerated Coils – Faster charge time, Decreases impact damage
• Discord – Final blows with another weapon grant this weapon increased speed for aiming down sights, accuracy, and airborne effectiveness for a short time. When Discord is active, final blows refund ammo.
• Reservoir Burst – When the battery is full, your next burst deals additional damage and causes enemies to explode on death.
• Masterwork Charge Time

For PVP Arrowhead Break, Particle Repeater, Under Pressure, Successful Warm-up, Masterwork Range

• Arrowhead Break – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
• Particle Repeater – Increases stability
• Under Pressure – Improved stability and accuracy as the magazine gets lower.
• Successful Warm-up – Each final blow increases charge/draw speed.
• Masterwork Range
