Arbor Warden is a Titan Exotic chest armor with the very unique perk of allowing you to create a barri-nade. It’s half grenade and half barricade, meaning you can use it as a defensive tool and an offensive one too. Today I’m going to walk through this Arbor Warden build, show you why it’s good, talk through the gameplay loop and then go into the build in more detail.

Why the build is good
This build is centered around Arbor Warden, which allows you to convert your class ability into a throwable barricade. Sounds kind of crazy, but it’s pretty effective. Barricades provide increased damage resistance, plus they draw fire from enemies. Having the ability to throw barricades provides much more ease of movement throughout the battlefield too, plus you can help out teammates who are further away than the standard barricade.
Drengr’s Lash allows us to weaponize our barricades by suspending enemies near them, meaning you can throw them for defence but also offence too. This essentially makes it like a Shackle Grenade, which we are also using too as part of our Prismatic kit. We’re also using Consecration, and together with our Frenzied Blade we’re getting multiple uses of Consecration, meaning we can slide, jump and destroy enemies with our solar ability.
With our mods we’re charging up our super when we get melee kills, plus generating as much heavy ammo as possible to help us cause big damage. Powered melee attacks charge up our super, but they also generate class ability, which we’re going to need for barri-nades. They also create orbs of power, which are going to give us an armor charge. While we have armor charges, our void weapons are going to be super charged thanks to void weapon surge, so this is going to work well with our exotic void weapon plus our heavy machine gun too. We’re also getting health back from orbs and charging up class ability too, helping us throw even more barrinades.

Arbor Warden is Exotic Chest armor for Titan’s with the perk Barri-nade.
Barri-nade – Using your class ability channels defensive Light inward, providing a grenade that creates a barricade on impact.
Get this from Master Rahool in the Tower.
Prismatic Subclass Setup
Super – Twilight Arsenal, Summon three Void axes and throw them at your foes one after another. On impact, the axes pull in nearby targets and detonate in a weakening explosion. After exploding, the axes can be picked up by you or your allies and used as a weapon for a short time.
Class ability – Rally Barricade, Creates a small barrier that you can peek over while aiming down sights; increases weapon reload speed, stability, and range. Draws hostile fire when you stand behind it.
Melee – Frenzied Blade, Activate your charged melee ability to dash forward, slashing at targets in front of you and severing them.
Grenade – Shackle Grenade, A thrown weapon of weighted Strand matter that detonates on impact, suspending targets and creating additional suspending subprojectiles.
Aspects
Consecration – While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to launch a wave of Solar energy forward, damaging and scorching targets in front of you as you leap into the air. While airborne, activate your charged melee again to slam to the ground and create a second larger wave of damaging Solar energy. If the wave hits a scorched target, they ignite.
Drengr’s Lash – Activate your Barricade ability to create a ripple in reality that travels forward along the ground, suspending and damaging the targets it hits.
Fragments
Facet of Blessing – Melee final blows start health regeneration. While transcendent, melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies.
Facet of Courage – Light abilities deal 10% increased damage to enemies affected by Stasis or Strand elemental debuffs.
Facet of Dawn – Elemental Melee Hits grant you Radiant for 4 seconds.
Facet of Protection – While surrounded by combatants, you are more resistant to incoming damage. While transcendent, the effect is increased.
Facet of Purpose – Picking up an Orb of Power grants either Bolt Charge, Restoration, Frost Armor, Woven Mail, or Overshield based on the damage type of your equipped Super.
Weapons
The Call (Rocket Sidearm)
The Call is a Legendary Strand Sidearm with a Rocket-Assisted Frame meaning the sidearm fires self-propelled rocket ammunition. Projectiles explode on impact for high damage. The Call is a weapon tied to The Pale Heart of the Traveler. Completing activities in this area will help you get the weapon.
Graviton Lance (Exotic Pulse Rifle)
This is an Exotic Energy Pulse Rifle that is great for void builds.
- Black Hole – Second shot of a burst rips a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff.
- Cosmology – Kills with this weapon cause enemy targets to detonate and spawn Void projectiles that track targets.
How to get: Xur
Hammerhead (Heavy Machine Gun)
Hammerhead is a Legendary Power Machine Gun which is an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. To get this one you’ll want to play Onslaught and it’s a random drop from that activity. To focus farm it, speak to Zavala and focus in his menus before jumping into Onslaught.
Mods
Head
Hands On – Gain bonus Super energy on melee kills.
Heavy Ammo Finder – Increases the drop chance of Heavy ammo upon defeat of an opponent.
Arms
Focusing strike – Grants class ability energy when you cause damage with a powered melee attack.
Heavy Handed – Powered melee creates orbs of power
Chest
Harmonic Resistance – Reduces incoming damage from combatants, same as your super element.
Arc Resistance – Reduces incoming Arc damage from combatants.
Solar Resistance – Reduces incoming Solar damage from combatants.
Legs
Insulation – Reduces class ability cooldown each time you pick up an Orb of Power.
Recuperation – Replenishes health each time you pick up an Orb of Power.
Void Weapon Surge – Your Void weapons gain a small bonus to damage while you have any Armor Charge. Your Armor Charge now decays over time.
Class Item
Bomber – Reduces grenade cooldown when using your class ability.
Reaper – Shortly after using your class ability, your next weapon final blow spawns an Orb of Power.
Utility Kickstart – Collecting an Orb of Power causes you to gain 1 temporary Armor Charge.
