Watchful Eye is an arc machine gun added into Destiny 2 as part of Episode Heresy. This is a fantastic arc machine gun, and great for arc builds which are very strong this episode. Today I’m going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Watchful Eye in Destiny 2.

How to get Watchful Eye

To get this one you’ll want to take part in activities in The Nether, this is the activity added into Destiny 2 as part of Episode Heresy. You can access The Nether via the Last City, during Episode Heresy. Once you are in there, defeat bosses to open loot chests, and open random loot chests to get Watchful Eye. Completing on Expert difficulty will give you the opportunity to get an Adept version of Watchful Eye. Also, you can attune your loot with the Tomb of Want. This is something you’ll get from the vendor in Eris Morn’s apartment in the Last City. This allows you to attune to the machine gun to focus farm this weapon.

Watchful Eye

Watchful Eye is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with an Aggressive Frame meaning it has high damage, high recoil. Looking at the stats we have Impact 33, Range 39, Stability 49, Handling 43, Reload Speed 43, Rounds Per Minute 600, and Magazine 64.

The Origin Trait here is Willing Vessel. Dealing damage or defeating targets with this weapon gradually grants increased stability, handling, reload speed, and charge rate. This effect gradually decreases over time but is gained more quickly while near allies.

In PvE, Watchful Eye is excellent. With Overflow or Field Prep as options, you can access some passive but powerful ammo perks. To complement this, you can take advantage of many damage or utility perks in the second column, as literally every single perk in column 2 enhances your damage in one way or another, be it raw numbers, jolt, or bolt charge.

In PvP, Machine guns are very popular, and Watchful Eye is no exception. With good consistency perks and a solid damage perk, Watchful Eye can be your go-to in PvP. Watchful Eye is S-Tier for PvE and A-tier for PvP.

Watchful Eye God Roll Guide

For PVE Fluted Barrel, High-Caliber Rounds, Overflow, Jolting Feedback, Masterwork Range

• Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
• High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
• Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo automatically loads this weapon beyond normal capacity.
• Jolting Feedback – Dealing repeated damage with this weapon inflicts Jolt. While amplified, Jolt is applied faster.
• Masterwork Range

For PVP Smallbore, High-Caliber Rounds, Dynamic Sway Reduction, Sword Logic, Masterwork Stability

• Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
• High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
• Dynamic Sway Reduction – Improves accuracy and stability while continuously holding down the trigger.
• Sword Logic – Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. The strength and duration of the bonus increases when more powerful targets are defeated.
• Masterwork Stability
