Tusk of the Boar is a strand wave-frame grenade launcher, added to Destiny 2 via Season of the Wish. This is going to super-charge any strand builds, so it’s well worth farming this grenade launcher from Iron Banner. Today I want to take a closer look at Tusk of the Boar, the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get Tusk of the Boar in Destiny 2.
How to get Tusk of the Boar
To get this one you’ll want to play Iron Banner. At the time of making this guide Iron Banner is available from 2 – 9th April. Iron Banner comes around a few times per season and it’s a week long PVP event in Destiny 2, you can always tell when it’s around as Lord Saladin is front and centre in the Tower Courtyard.
You can get Tusk of the Boar as a random reward from the end of Iron Banner matches or you can get it decrypting Iron Banner engrams at Lord Saladin. Once you have the Tusk of the Boar in your inventory, then you’ll be able to get additional rolls by focusing at Saladin.
Tusk of the Boar
Tusk of the Boar is a Legendary Kinetic Grenade Launcher with a Wave Frame meaning it’s a one-shot handheld Grenade Launcher. Projectiles release a wave of energy when they contact the ground. Looking at the stats Blast Radius 100, Velocity 69, Stability 23, Handling 69, Reload Speed 68, Airborne Effectiveness 2, Rounds Per Minute 72, and Magazine 1.
We have a choice of Origin traits for this including
Skulking Wolf – While at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar.
Field Tested – Defeating targets or dealing damage with this weapon gradually increases range, stability, handling, and reload speed.
