Released alongside The Edge of Fate DLC, Synanceia is a Solar Wave Sword obtainable through the Arms Week / Call to Arms event. It’s a must-have for PvE players thanks to its strong perk options that support both high damage output and dynamic movement. This guide breaks down its place in the current meta, the best rolls for PvE and PvP, and how to farm it efficiently.
How to get Synanceia
Synanceia is a limited-time weapon available during special events like Arms Week or Call to Arms. To farm it, complete event activities and attune to it at Devrim Kay in the Tower. It can also appear in the Event Shop or as part of the Event Rank rewards in the Home tab.
Synanceia
Synanceia is a Legendary Power Sword with a Wave Sword Frame meaning heavy attack deploys a shockwave uppercut and launches the user into the air. An immediate follow up swing after the uppercut deploys a homing strike that aggressively seeks a target. Looking at the stats we have Swing Speed 40, Impact 62, Charge Rate 50, Charge Time 50, Magazine 50, and Ammo Capacity 67.
The Origin traits are Tenacity and Hakke Breach Armaments.
Teancity – When targets are nearby, final blows grant weapon damage, reload speed, and handling until the wielder’s death.
Hakke Breach Armaments – This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles and constructs. Constructs include barricades, turrets, Stasis crystals, and other objects created in the field.
Synanceia ranks among the top Swords in Destiny 2 (see our Sword Tier List for more) and is a new essential for PvE loadouts. Its Solar element and impressive perk pool give it exceptional flexibility and power. In PvE, it’s considered S-Tier, while in PvP, it holds a respectable B-Tier rating thanks to its burst mobility and finishing potential.
Synanceia god roll
For PVE Tempered Edge, Swordmasters Guard, Relentless Strikes, Eager Edge, Masterwork Impact
- Tempered Edge – Increased sword damage and ammo.
- Swordmasters Guard – Sword Guard has low overall defenses, but increases charge rate.
- Relentless Strikes – Landing three light-attack hits within a short time grants Sword ammo.

Synanceia shines in PvE due to its well-rounded perk combinations. Start with Tempered Edge for a balance of Impact and efficiency, and pair it with Swordmaster’s Guard for improved guard resistance and faster charge rate.
Relentless Strikes is key here, granting Sword ammo after three quick light hits — perfect for sustaining damage and fueling Eager Edge, which propels you forward for both mobility and closing distances mid-fight.
For higher damage builds, Sharp Harvest or Relentless Strikes combined with Elemental Honing are great alternatives. Add Surrounded for a 35% damage boost when near three or more enemies — ideal for aggressive melee playstyles.
