Scavenger’s Fate is a new void shotgun added to Destiny 2 as part of Episode Revenant. This one is a serious contender for PVP players, given it’s similarities with Dusk Rock Blues. Today I am going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Scavenger’s Fate in Destiny 2.
How to get Scavenger’s Fate
To get Scavenger’s Fate you’ll want to take part in Tomb of Elders, which can be started from the Last City via the Director. It’s a random drop from the activity, or you can drink a Tonic from Eido to help you focus farm this weapon. To get additional rolls keep playing Tomb of Elders, and you’ll get plenty of drops as the activity is quite generous when it comes to loot. Now this one is in the loot pool, you should be able to get it to drop from Onslaught Salvation too, although I haven’t tested this myself.
Scavenger’s Fate
Scavenger’s Fate is a Legendary Energy Shotgun that deals void damage. It has a Precision Frame meaning this weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 60, Stability 38, Handling 37, Reload Speed 46, Rounds Per Minute 65, Magazine 5.
The Origin Trait is Dark Ether Repeaer where finals blows with this weapon periodically spawn Dark Ether charges. Charges can be detonated early with weapons fire or by coming into contact with them. Doing so refills this weapon from reserves.
This looks like it’s going to be a very good shotgun, perhaps one of the best in the current sandbox, especially for PVP players. We have some great PVP-focused perks including Slideshot, Lone Wolf, and Closing Time, and Scavenger’s Fate.
Scavenger’s Fate god roll guide
For PVE Barrel Shroud, Assault Mag, Repulsor Brace, Destabilizing Rounds would be good.
- Barrel Shroud – Increases stability, Increases handling speed
- Assault Mag – Greatly increases stability, Increases rate of fire
- Repulsor Brace – Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an overshield.
- Destabilizing Rounds – Final blows cause nearby targets to become volatile.
For PVP Barrel Shroud, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, Closing Time
- Barrel Shroud – Increases stability, Increases handling speed
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Slideshot – Sliding partially reloads this weapon’s magazine and temporarily boosts range and stability.
- Closing Time – Improves range, accuracy, and handling as the magazine gets lower.
Let me know in the comments what you think.
