Scatter Signal is a new fusion rifle added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Wish. This is a strand rapid-fire frame fusion rifle, and definitle one you’ll want to add to your arsenal. Today I’m going to go through the stats, the perks, the god rolls for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Scatter Signal in Destiny 2.
How to get Scatter Signal
Scatter Signal drops from Season of the Wish activities. That means Riven’s Lair activity or through Season of the Wish Engrams.

Scatter Signal is a Legendary Kinetic Fusion Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 55, Range 23, Stability 36, Handling 52, Reload Speed 46, Airborne Effectiveness 4, Charge Time 500 and Magazine 7.
The Origin Trait on this one is called Dragon’s Vengeance. When an ally dies or you reach critical health, this weapon’s magazine refills, and it gains bonus range, charge rate, and handling.
Scatter Signal god roll
For PVE Chambered Compensator, Enhanced Battery, Overflow and Controlled Burst would be good.
- Chambered Compensator – Increases stability, Moderately controls recoil, Slightly decreases handling speed
- Enhanced Battery – Increases magazine size
- Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo automatically loads this weapon beyond normal capacity.
- Controlled Burst – Landing every shot in a burst grants this weapon increased damage and reduced charge time for a short duration.
For PVP Extended Barrel, Projection Fuse, Perpetual Motion and Under Over would be good.
- Extended Barrel – Increases range, Decreases handling speed, Moderately controls recoil
- Projection Fuse – Increases range
- Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
- Under Over – Deals bonus damage to targets with overshields. Deals a small amount of bonus damage to combatant shields.
