How to get Redrix’s Estoc (Legendary Pulse Rifle) plus god roll in Destiny 2

Redrix’s Estoc is the new competitive reward in Episode Heresy. This is a new Legacy PR-55 Frame, and it’s going to becpme a monster in PVP. If you’re a fan of the BXR Battler, then it may be time to retire it and upgrade with a Redrix’s Estoc. Today I want to go through the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Redrix’s Estoc in Destiny 2.

How to get Redrix’s Estoc

To get Redrix’s Estoc you’ll want to play competitive PVP matches, and you’ll get it as a reward after your seven placement matches. Depending on your placement you’ll get additional chances to get this weapon per week from Lord Shaxx in the Tower. You’ll then have more chances every Tuesday when Destiny 2 resets. Note, you may have to get all the competitve weapons before you get Redrix’s Estoc to drop for you.

Redrix’s Estoc

Redrix’s Estoc is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with a Legacy PR-55 Frame meaning it has a Customized frame with dramatically increased accuracy, stability, and targeting while hip firing. Looking at the stats we have Impact 23, Range 54, Stability 63, Handling 79, Reload Speed 65, Rounds Per Minute 450, and Magazine 36.

Redrix’s Estoc is similar to the BXR-55 Battler, released as part of the Bungie 30th anniversary. The Legacy PR-55 Frame offers a fast rate of fire with increased accuracy, stability, and hip-fire. The Legacy PR-55 has been exclusive to the Halo themed Battle Rifle, until now.

Perk 1: Encore, Lone Wolf, Perpetual Motion, Zen Moment, Offhand Strike, Rimestealer, Demolitionist
Perk 2: Desperate Measures, Sword Logic, Desperado, Headseeker, Rapid Hit, Kill Clip, Headstone

Loads of great perks, this one is going to quickly become the best weapon in PVP.

Redrix’s Estoc god roll guide

For PVE Polygonal Rifling, Flared Magwell, Zen Moment, Desperate Measures

  • Polygonal Rifling – Increases stability
  • Flared Magwell – Slightly increases stability, Greatly increases reload speed
  • Rimestealer – Destroying a Stasis crystal or defeating a frozen target with this weapon grants you Frost Armor.
  • Headstone – Precision final blows spawn a Stasis crystal at the victim’s location.

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Zen Moment, Headseeker, Masterwork Range

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
  • Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon reduces recoil and flinch over time.
  • Headseeker – Body shots landed with this weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time. Body shots landed while the perk is active refresh the time.
  • Masterwork Range

I also like Desperado, but I saw that every time I go through god rolls for Pulse Rifles.

This combination, Zen Moment + Headseeker, is incredible in PvP, as the former reduces flinch and recoil while the latter makes hitting the weapon’s optimal TTK much easier by increasing precision damage.

Given how accurate this archetype is already, being able to add meta perks like this is incredible. For comparison, BXR-55 Battler only gets access to the likes of Perpetual Motion, Outlaw, and Kill Clip. These are solid options but are completely outclassed by what Redrix’s Estoc has to offer.

Even beyond our recommended PvP god roll, the Stasis Pulse Rifle also gets Lone Wolf in column one and Rapid Hit in column two. There are so many good options on this newcomer that it’s hard to see its predecessor remaining relevant for much longer, at least in PvP.

Let me know in the comments what you think.
