How to get Line in the Sand
To get Line in the Sand you’ll need to complete activities from Episode Echoes including Breach Executable and also Battlegrounds found on Nessus – you can launch these activities from the H.E.L.M. You can also focus engrams with Failsafe in the H.E.L.M. Unfortunately this can’t be crafted but it can be upgraded with enhanced perks.
Line in the Sand
Line in the Sand is a Legendary Power Linear Fusion Rifle with a Precision Frame meaning it fires a long-range precision energy bolt. This weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 41, Range 29, Stability 42, Handling 26, Reload Speed 23, Airborne Effectiveness 6, Charge Time 533, Magazine 5.
The Origin Trait is Cast No Shadow dealing melee damage refills 20 percent of the magazine and grants bonus handling.

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Liquid Coils, Rapid Hit, Bait and Switch
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- Liquid Coils – Increases impact damage, Slower charge time
- Rapid Hit – Rapid precision hits temporarily increase stability and reload speed.
- Bait and Switch – Deal damage with all equipped weapons within a short time to give this weapon a damage boost.
For PVP Hammer-Forged Rifling, Projection Fuse, Moving Target, Opening Shot
- Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
- Projection Fuse – Increases range
- Moving Target – Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.
- Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.
