How to get Elsie’s Rifle (Legendary Pulse Rifle) and god roll guide in Destiny 2

Elsie’s Rifle has arrived in Destiny 2 as part of Into The Light. This is a remade version of The Stranger’s Rifle from Destiny 1, and it’s back and better than ever. Today I want to check out Elsie’s Rifle, the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get Elsie’s Rifle in Destiny 2.

How to get Elsie’s Rifle

To get this one you’ll want to run Onslaught, which you can find in the Into The Light node on the director. You can get Elsie’s Rifle as a random reward from the boss after wave 10, 20, 30 etc… every ten ways has a reward.

There is also a quest with Lord Shaxx for the tutorial of Into The Light, which takes you through the focusing options, allowing you to attune to a particular weapon, making it 50% more likely to drop these weapons in chests and during the Onslaught activity. Speak to Shaxx, runt through the quest steps and he’ll reward you with a limited edition Elsie’s Rifle, whcih comes with a curated roll.

There’s a new currency called Trophies of Bravery, you’ll get rewarded this by completing waves of Onslaught. There is a chest next to Lord Shaxx, you can turn these in to get more weapon drops of the Brave weapon arsenal, which Elsie’s Rifle belongs to.

Elsie’s Rifle

Elsie’s Rifle is a Legendary Energy Pulse Rifle with a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow firing and high damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary, moving slowly, and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats we have Impact 33, Range 60, Stability 55, Handling 42, Reload Speed 60, Airborne Effectiveness 24, Rounds Per Minute 340, Magazine 29

The origin trait here is Indomitability where final blows grant grenade energy when playing a Light subclass or melee energy when playing a Darkness subclass.

Elsie’s Rifle god roll guide

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Repulsor Brace, Destabilizing Rounds

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Appended Mag – Increases magazine size
  • Repulsor Brace – Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an overshield.
  • Destabilizing Rounds – Final blows cause nearby targets to become volatile.

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Zen Moment, Headseeker

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
  • Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon reduces recoil and flinch over time.
  • Headseeker – Body shots landed with this weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time. Body shots landed while the perk is active refresh the time.

Feeding Frenzy paired with Desperado is also VERY strong.

Let me know in the comments what you think of Elsie’s Rifle.
