Deadlock is a shotgun added to Destiny 2 as part of Episode Revenant. This is a great shotgun, and the comp reward this season in PVP, so it’s going to be great in the crucible, but it’s surprisingly good in PVE content too. Today I’m going to run through the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get Deadlock in Destiny 2.

How to get Deadlock
To get this one you’ll need to complete the placement matches for comp, which is 7 matches in total. Once you complete the 7th match Deadlock should drop for you. You may need to get all the previous comp weapons to get the latest one to drop.
Deadlock
Deadlock is a Legendary Kinetic Shotgun with a Precision Frame meaning the weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 69, Stability 46, Handling 47, Reload Speed 49, Rounds Per Minute 65, and Magazine 5.
Deadlock god roll guide
For PVE Smoothbore, Steady Rounds, Threat Remover, Trench Barrel
- Smoothbore – Greatly increases range at the cost of more projectile spread.
- Steady Rounds – Greatly increases stability, Slightly decreases range, Increases airborne effectiveness
- Threat Remover – Dealing damage with all pellets in a spread increases reload speed, handling, and stability.
- Trench Barrel – After a successful melee hit, this weapon gains increased damage, handling, and reload speed for a short duration—or until three shots are fired.
For PVP Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, and Opening Shot would be good.
- Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Slideshot – Sliding partially reloads this weapon’s magazine and temporarily boosts range and stability.
- Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.
