Circular Logic is a new Strand weapon added to Destiny 2 as part of the Lightfall expansion. This is one of the first new strand weapons, and it’s going to go great with our Strand builds. As well as dealing Strand damage it also has the chance to roll with new perks, including Hatchling, which is very interesting, but more on that later. Today I want to take a closer look at the weapon, check out the rolls for PVP and PVE plus look at how to get Circular Logic in Destiny 2.
How to get Circular Logic
To get Circular Logic you’ll need to compete the Terminal Overload activity on Neptune, and open up the chest with a Terminal Overload Key. This chest can be found on the right hand side after you beat the final boss.
To get access to Terminal Overload and the keys you need you’ll have to complete the Lightfall Campaign, and then complete the ‘Welcome to the Hall of Heroes quest’. Once you have done that, complete the ‘Stargazer’ quest, plus you’ll need to level up to at least 1750. You can get Terminal Overload keys from Public events and opening up chests on Neomuna near the Vex Incursion location, which can be found on Neptune. Once you have done this Terminal Overload will become a selectable activity on Neptune. Circular Logic is a specific reward from Terminal Overload found in Zephyr Concourse. Do be aware the location for Terminal Overload rotates each day.
Circular Logic
Circular Logic is a Legendary Power Machine Gun with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 41, Range 40, Stability 33, Handling 58, Reload Speed 51, Airborne Effectiveness 11, Rounds Per Minute 450, and Magazine 53. As mentioned earlier, this one is also a strand weapon, one of the first legendary strand weapons we have, and it can come with strand specific perks.
This one comes with the origin trait Nanotech Tracer Rockets, where landing multiple hits turns your next shot into a homing micro-missle.
Circular Logic God Roll Guide
For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Extended Mag, Feeding Frenzy and Hatchling would be good.
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- Extended Mag – Greatly increases magazine size, Greatly decreases reload speed, Increases airborne effectiveness
- Feeding Frenzy – Each rapid kill with this weapon progressively increases reload speed for a short time.
- Hatchling – Precision final blows or rapidly defeating targets with a non-precision weapon spawns a Threadling at the target’s location.
This one also can roll with Target Lock, which is a great choice for Machine Guns, allowing you to melt bosses.
For PVP Corkscrew Rifling, Appended Mag, Shot Swap and Vorpal Weapon would be good.
- Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
- Appended Mag – Increases magazine size
- Shot Swap – Final blows build and store charges which allow you to swap and stow this weapon at a faster rate.
- Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
Let me know in the comments what you think of the weapon and let me know your tops rolls.
