Arcane Embrace is a new type of shotgun added to Destiny 2 in Festival of the Lost. This one is a heavy burst frame shotgun, and it fires two rounds in quick succession, this is excellent for PVE content but not bad for PVP too. Today I want to take a closer look at the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Arcane Embrace in Destiny 2.
How to get Arcane Embrace
To get Arcane Embrace you’ll want to take part in Festival of the Lost activities while the event is available. The event runs from October 29th to November 12th so you have plenty of time to get it. You’ll get the Arcane Embrace by completing the intro quest with Eva Levante, so speak to her, put on your halloween mask and run Haunted Sectors to gather pages and collect candy.
The weapon is either going to drop for you at the end of the activity from the loot chest, or you’ll get it as a reward from Eva by completing the introduction quest after your first Haunted Sector and interacting with the book. To get additional rolls complete Haunted Sectors. The event is very generous when it comes to weapons so you’ll have a decent roll in no time.
Arcane Embrace
Arcane Embrace is a Legendary Energy Shotgun with a Heavy Burst frame meaning it fires a hard-hitting, two-round burst. Slightly reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming. Looking at the stats we have Impact 70, Range 62, Stability 39, Handling 63, Reload Speed 69, Rounds Per Minute 63, Magazine 12.
The Origin Trait for this one is Search Party where this weapon is granted faster aim down sights speed and movement speed while aiming down sights when no allies are near.
Arcane Embrace god roll guide
For PVE Hammer Forged Rifling, Flared Magwell, Fourth Time’s The Charm, Surrounded
- Hammer Forged Rifling – Increases range
- Flared Magwell – Slightly increases stability, Greatly increases reload speed
- Fourth Time’s The Charm – Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine.
- Surrounded – This weapon gains bonus damage when three or more enemies are in close proximity.
For PVP Hammer Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Lone Wolf, Closing Time
- Hammer Forged Rifling – Increases range
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Lone Wolf – Slightly improves aim assist, aim down sights speed, and airborne effectiveness. Increases these effects when there are no nearby allies.
- Closing Time – Improves range, accuracy, and handling as the magazine gets lower.
