Still Hunt is an Exotic Sniper added to Destiny 2 in The Final Shape. This is a Golden Gun Sniper, which you can use across any class, so not specfically tied to Hunters. This is the weapon that every wanted when we first saw the trailer for this before The Final Shape. Today I am going to go through all the steps for how to get Still Hunt in Destiny 2.

Without further delay, let’s dive in and find out how to get this Sniper.
How to get Still Hunt
To get this one you’ll need to complete a few quests:
Complete The Final Shape campaign
Start the Destined Heroes quest
Complete Queens Part 1 to unlock the Wild Card mission
Complete Wild Card
How to complete “Queens Part 1” quest
Once you finish up the campaign, you’ll be back in the Lost City Old Tower, talk to ghost and they will offer you the Destined Heroes quest. Then tune into the radio message to pick up Queens Part 1. Queens Part 1 is a simmilar to a campaign mission. It’s all fairly straight forward, apart from the rune mechanics. At certain points you’ll have to reflect different elements into runes to activate them. You’ll have to kill a Hive Knight, pick up their Sword and reflect different elements into the runes. Keep killing the Hive enemies and new enemies will spawn to create the different elements. Keep working through the mission and you’ll face off against Savathun, and then finish up the Queens Part 1 quest.
Once you have finished up Queens Part 1, then speak to Cayde in the Lost City to pick up “Wild Card”.
Wild Card walkthrough
The Wild Card mission is fairly straight forward as a quest, but there a few parts to it, plus we get some excellent lore. We’re on a journey with Crow and Cayde and we have to set up camp and coduct some investigations. First we have to investigate War Beasts and Screebs infected with Dark Ether.
Devourer War Beast
Next we are directed into a cave where we have to battle a tough War Beast. This isn’t too tricky, but do be aware the War Beast is fairly tanky. Keep at it, defeat the War Beast and then head back to camp and speak to Cayde and Crow.
Destroy the Blights
Next we have to destroy Blights. However, you don’t deal damage to them directly you have to kill all the enemies close to the Blights. Repeat this 4 times then some Dread enemies appear. Defeat them, and then 2 more Blights and head back to camp to speak to Cayde and Crow.
Defeat the Shanks
After meditating at camp you’ll be trasnported to a little room, where you have 3 narrow windows to shoot through. Shanks will start coming towards you and you can shoot them through the windows. Don’t jump out into the area, and you’ll be forced to go back. Kill the smaller shanks and a bigger one called the Hoarder of Tainted Light will appear. To take out it’s shield, kill the smaller ones and then you’ll be able to defeat the bigger shank. Once you are finished then go back to camp.
Defeat Harvest of the Witness
It’s time for the final part of the mission. This takes us into a cave with Screebs and Lii’liks the Scorn Abomination boss. The boss has 3 sections on the health bar. When you knock down the health bar the boss goes away and you’ll have to fill the Dark Ether tank with 10 motes. Do this 3 times and you’ll finish up the quest.
Once you’re finished you’ll get a nice cutscene, then a chat back at camp with Cayde and Crow, where Cayde offers Crow the Hunter Vanguard and a new cloak. Then go back to The Lost City Tower, and speak to Cayde again and he’ll give you Still Hunt Exotic Sniper.
Still Hunt
This one is an Exotic Sniper with Golden Gun capabilities. You have to charge up the weapon by picking up orbs or getting precision hits. Once the meter is full then hold the reload button to activate Golden Gun.
If you are a Hunter, Celestial Nighthawk works with Still Hunt combining the shots into one powerful shot. This isn’t just a Hunter weapon though, you can use it, and Golden Gun if you are a Titan or Warlock.
