Iron Banner God Roll Weapons in Season of the Wish

Iron Banner is back in Season of the Wish, and there are plenty of decent weapons to chase. Today I want to run through the god roll weapons to look out for in Iron Banner, so you can get tooled up and ready to go in Iron Banner this season in Destiny 2.

Without further delay, let’s check out the Iron Banner god roll loot.

Lethal Abundance (Auto Rifle)

This is the new weapon this season, it’s a brand new Strand High Impact Auto Rifle.

Lethal Abundance is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle with a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow firing and high damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary, moving slowly, and aiming down sights. Looking at the stats we have Impact 33, Range 80, Stability 31, Handling 32, Reload Speed 36, Airborne Effectiveness 17, Rounds Per Minute 360, and Magazine 32.

For PVE Slice and Hatchling look good. Slice is a new Strand perk where casting your class ability allows this weapon to sever targets on hit for a brief duration, up to a maximum number of targets. For PVP Dynamic Sway Reduction and Target Lock looks good.

Riiswalker (Shotgun)

This is the returning Iron Banner weapon this season, it’s a fan favourite, it’s a Kinetic Lightweight Shotgun. For PVE Shot Swap and Vorpal Weapon look good. For PVP Killing Wind and Opening Shot looks pretty decent. We know a lot about Riiswalker, it’s a fine PVP shotgun, and it’s going to be worth hunting a decent roll this season while the weapon is back in rotation.

Both weapons have the Skulking Wolf Origin Trait while at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar.

Point of the Stag (Bow)

Point of the Stag is a Legendary Energy Combat Bow with a Precision Frame meaning it’s a Compound Bow. Longer draw time optimized for damage.

We have a choice of Origin Traits for all Iron Banner weapons this season

Skulking Wolf – While at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar.
Wild Card – Final blows with this weapon have a chance to create experimental submunitions at the target’s location.
For PVE Elastic String, Compact Arrow Shaft, Archer’s Tempo and Dragonfly would be good.

Elastic String – Decreases accuracy, Faster draw time, Slightly increases handling speed
Compact Arrow Shaft – Increases handling speed, Increases reload speed
Archer’s Tempo – Draw time decreases after every precision hit.
Dragonfly – Precision kills create an elemental damage explosion.
For PVP Polymer String, Compact Arrow Shaft, Archer’s Tempo and Swashbuckler would be good.

Precision Instrument – Dealing sustained damage increases precision damage.

The Guiding Sight (Scout Rifle)

The Guiding Sight is a Legendary Kinetic Scout Rifle with a High-Impact Frame meaning it’s slow firing and high damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary, moving slowly, and aiming down sights.

For PVE Hitmark IS, Flared Magwell, Rapid Hit and Vorpal Weapon would be good.

Hitmark IS – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases range
Flared Magwell – Slightly increases stability, Greatly increases reload speed
Rapid Hit – Rapid precision hits temporarily increase stability and reload speed.
Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
For PVP Cleanshot IS, Ricochet Rounds, Slideshot, Iron Grip would be good.

Cleanshot IS – Increases handling speed, Slightly increases range
Ricochet Rounds – Increases range
Slideshot – Sliding partially reloads this weapon’s magazine and temporarily boosts range and stability.
Iron Grip – Massively improves weapon stability at the cost of reload speed.

Jorum’s Claw (Pulse Rifle)

Jorum’s Claw is a Legendary Energy Pulse Rifle with an Adaptive Frame meaning it has a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. Looking at the stats we have Impact 29, Range 49, Stability 50, Handling 44, Reload Speed 43, Airborne Effectiveness 10, Rounds Per Minute 390, and Magazine 38. For PVE Outlaw and Incandescent would be good. For PVP Moving Target and Headskeer would be good.

Bite of the Fox (Sniper Rifle)

Bite of the Fox is an aggressive frame sniper rifle which means it has high damage and high recoil. It’s got 90 for impact, 73 for range, 28 stability, 32 handling and 32 reload speed. It’s 72 rounds per minute sniper with 3 in the magazine. For PVP Snapshot Sights and Moving Target would be good and for PVE Rampage and Rapid Hit is something to look out for.

You can also get Dark Decider (Auto Rifle), Gunnora’s Axe (Shotgun), Roar of the Bear (Rockets), The Wizened Rebuke (Fusion), Allied Demand (Sidearm), and The Hero’s Burden (SMG). The Wizened Rebuke is definitely one to look out for, that’s a very good fusion, and the Allied Demand is likely to get some good use in Crucible this season with the way things are for Sidearms in this meta.

How to earn Iron Banner loot

Iron Banner has a range of loot on offer including weapons, armor and the Iron Lord Title. Lord Saladin is our Iron Banner vendor, and you can find him in the Tower near the courtyard landing zone. By playing Iron Banner you can rank up with Lord Saladin, and each time you rank up you’ll earn Iron Banner Engrams and powerful upgrades. Play Iron banner to earn XP, and get as many Iron Banner engrams as possible. Iron Banner engrams can be decrypted at Master Rahool in the Tower for Iron Banner loot, or you can focus your Iron Banner Engrams with Lord Saladin himself, but be aware this can be a costly business regarding legendary shards.

Let me know in the comments what you think of Iron Banner.
