Mask of Fealty Hunter PVE Build in Destiny 2

Mask of Fealty is a Hunter Exotic helm which is going to help you control enemies in Destiny 2. You will be slowing and smashing frozen targets, plus you’ll have frost armor nearly 100% of the time, increasing your damage output and reducing your incoming damage. Today I’m going to check out this Mask of Fealty Hunter PVE build, show you why it’s good, run through how to put the build together and show off some gameplay in Destiny 2.

Why this build is good

This build is all about controlling the battlefield with your Stasis Hunter and we’re using Mask of Fealty to help get the job done. This exotic helmet for Hunters enhances Withering Blade, creating stasis crystals and refunding melee energy. Combined with other aspects and fragments we’re going to have our melee ability available all the time, meaning freezing enemies with ease.

Our class ability, Gambler’s Dodge, when used near enemies refunds out melee completely, allowing us to dish out more Withering Blades, freezing and slowing enemies. With our Aspect Grim Harvest defeating these enemies creates Stasis Shards, and when we pick these up they are going to apply Forst Armor, meaning plenty of damage resistance, making your Hunter very hard to kill. Given our fragment Whisper of Chains, when we defeat enemies with Forst Armor applied we’re going to create more stasis shards, creating a loop of damage resistance for us and our fireteam.

Our melee abilities are enhances with our exotic, aspects and fragments – also our grenade is enhanced too. We’re using a Coldsnap grenade, when combined with Touch of Winter, the seekers are duplicated, freeze targets amd create more crystals.

I’m pairing this stasis setup with Stasis weapons including a devastating rocket side arm and a classic exotic weapon in Graviton Lance, so we’re going to be freezing enemies and dishing out void damage to enemies. This is a fanastic Stasis Hunter build, you should definitely try this one out today.

This is an exotic hunter helmet

Null Factor – Withering Blade hits and bounces create a small Stasis crystal and refund a portion of melee energy. Using Withering Blade to shatter crystals or frozen targets releases a spread of Withering Blades.

You can get this from Master Rahool in the Tower.

Stasis Subclass Setup

Super – Silence and Squall, Summon two Stasis kamas, Silence and Squall, that you throw one after another. Silence : Creates a flash-freeze blast that freezes and damages targets. Squall : Creates a Stasis Storm that slows and damages targets caught inside.
Melee – Withering Blade, Toss a Stasis Shuriken at targets to damage and slow them.
Class ability – Gambler’s Dodge, Dodge to perform a deft tumble, avoiding enemy attacks. Dodging near enemies fully recharges your Melee Ability.
Grenade – Coldsnap Grenade, A grenade that freezes on impact and sends another seeker to find and freeze targets.

Aspects

Touch of Winter – Your Glacier, Duskfield, and Coldsnap grenades have enhanced functionality. Coldsnap Grenade: Seekers duplicate after freezing a target and create a Stasis crystal on detonation.

Grim Harvest – Defeating slowed or frozen targets creates Stasis shards. These shards grant melee energy when picked up by you or your allies. While Grim Harvest is equipped, picking up Stasis shards grants stacks of Frost Armor.

Fragments

Whisper of Fissures – Increases the damage and size of the burst of Stasis when you destroy a Stasis crystal or defeat a frozen target.
Whisper of Chains – Defeating targets while you have Frost Armor has a chance to create a [Stasis] Stasis shard.
Whisper of Refraction – Defeating slowed or frozen targets grants you class ability energy.
Whisper of Shards – Shattering a Stasis crystal temporarily boosts your grenade recharge rate. Shattering additional Stasis crystals increases the duration of this benefit.
Whisper of Conduction – Nearby Stasis shards track to your position.

Weapons

Tinasha’s Mastery

Tinasha’s Mastery is a Legendary Stasis Sidearm with a Rocket-Assisted Frame meaning sidearm fires self-propelled rocket ammunition. Projectiles explode on impact for high damage. You can get it from Iron Banner and it’s perfect for Stasis and Prismatic builds.

Graviton Lance

This is an Exotic Energy Pulse Rifle that is great for void builds.

Black Hole – Second shot of a burst rips a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff.
Cosmology – Kills with this weapon cause enemy targets to detonate and spawn Void projectiles that track targets.

How to get: Xur

Qua Furor V

Qua Furor V is a Legendary Stasis Power Machine Gun with an Aggressive Frame which means high damage, high recoil. For the Origin Trait we have Wild Card. Final blows with this weapon have a chance to create experimental submunitions at the target’s location. Qua Furor V is a world drop weapon, meaning you’ll have to open legendary engrams, prime engrams and also gunsmith engrams to find the weapon.

Mods

Head
Harmonic Siphon – Rapid Stasis weapon final blows create an Orb of Power.
Dynamo – Reduces Super cooldown when using your class ability near targets.

Arms
Impact Induction – Causing damage with a powered melee attack reduces your grenade cooldown.
Momentum Transfer – Causing damage with a grenade reduces your melee cooldown.
Bolstering Detonation – Grants class ability energy when you cause damage with a grenade.

Chest
Charged Up – Increases the maximum number of stacks of Armor Charge you can carry by 1.
Concussive Dampener – Reduces incoming area-of-effect damage from combatants.

Legs
Elemental Charge – Collecting a Firesprite, Ionic Trace, Stasis shard, or Void Breach, or destroying a Strand Tangle has an escalating chance to give you Armor Charge.
Stacks on Stacks – Picking up an Orb of Power grants you 1 additional stack of Armor Charge.

Class item
Bomber – Reduces grenade cooldown when using your class ability.
Reaper – Shortly after using your class ability, your next weapon final blow spawns an Orb of Power.
Utility Kickstart – Collecting an Orb of Power causes you to gain 1 temporary Armor Charge.
