How to get Yeartide Apex (Solstice Submachine Gun) plus god roll in Destiny 2

Yeartide Apex is a Submachine Gun added into Destiny 2 with Solstice 2025. This is a fantastic SMG, plus if you are high enough light level then it’s pretty easy to get tier 4 and tier 5 drops right now. Today I’m going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Yeartide Apex in Destiny 2.

How to get Yeartide Apex

Yeartide Apex is exclusive to the Solstice event. All you need to do is speak to Eva Levate in the Tower to kick off the event, then add some Solstice modifiers onto Portal activities. Then run through the event and while Solstice is on Solstice weapons, including the Yeartide Apex will drop from the end of the activity. Weapons are also dropping at +1 and occasionally at +2 above your current tier. For example, Levels 100-300 are dropping tier 3 and 4 weapons, 300-400 dropping tier 4 and 5, then when you hit 400 it’s raining tier 5 weapons, so now is a great time to farm Solstice weapons including the Yeartide Apex.

Yeartide Apex

Yeartide Apex is a Legendary Energy Submachine Gun with a Lightweight Frame meaning it has superb handling. Move faster with this weapon equipped. Looking at the stats we have Impact 15, Range 29, Stability 40, Handling 64, Reload Speed 27, Rounds Per Minute 900, Magazine 41.

We have a couple of Origin Traits for this one. Dream Work – Once per reload, assists or assisted final blows partially refill the weapon from reserves and increase reload speed for a short duration. Bows receive faster draw time. Tex Balanced Stock – Damaging targets while firing from the hip increases handling, reload speed, and movement speed while aiming down sights.
