You can get Romantic Death while the Reclaim event is on. There is also a guaranteed drop from the Event pass, plus you can get additional rolls from the event shop. If you like Wave frames I would get this weapon while the event is around.

Romantic Death is a Legendary Energy Grenade Launcher with a Wave Frame meaning it has a one-shot handheld Grenade Launcher. Projectiles release a wave of energy when they contact the ground. Looking at the stats we have Blast Radius 50, Velocity 73, Stability 23, Handling 65, Reload Speed 66, Rounds Per Minute 72, Magazine 1.

For the Origin Trait we have Tenacity. When targets are nearby, final blows grant weapon damage, reload speed, and handling until the wielder’s death.

Romantic Death stands out as a Wave Frame grenade launcher, and Wave Frames in general remain some of the strongest options in Destiny 2. Thanks to its Void element, this weapon benefits from top-tier perk combinations that elevate its performance even further. Stat-wise, it can be tuned to reach 100 in Velocity, Handling, and Reload Speed—three of the most important stats for maximizing a launcher’s effectiveness.

In today’s PvE meta, Wave Frames continue to shine, and Romantic Death delivers the ideal perk pool for a Void-centric loadout. This makes it an easy recommendation for any Void-focused build, where it slots in seamlessly and performs at a very high level. While Wave Frames aren’t considered competitive in PvP, Romantic Death can still be a fun off-meta choice for the Crucible if you want to experiment.
