How to get Just In Case (Legendary Sword) plus God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

The Just In Case sword is a returning sword given back to us in Season of the Deep. This one is a great sword, plus it deals solar damage, and it’s great for Solar builds. Today I want to take a closer look at the sword, look at the stats, the perks, the god rolls to chase for PVP and PVE, plus how to get Just In Case in Destiny 2.

How to get Just In Case

To get this one you’ll need to own Season of the Deep, plus take part in the fishing acitivty which you can find on Nessus, Savathun’s Throne World and The EDZ. You’ll need to collect Legendary Fish, then bank them in the H.E.L.M. in exchange for Legendary rewards. You can also focus Deep Engrams at the Sonar Station in the HELM for Season of the Deep Weapons, and Just In Case is included in that list.

Just In Case

Just In Case is a Legendary Power Sword with an Adaptive Frame where you can launch a heavy uppercut attack.
Heavy attacks are stronger with full energy. Looking at the stats we have Swing Speed 40, Impact 60, Range 40, Charge Rate 20, Charge Time 20, Magazine 59, and Ammo Capacity 62.

The Origin Trait for this one is Disaster Plan where swords gain a large increase to charge rate instead.

Just In Case God Roll Guide

For PVE Jagged Edge, Swordmaster’s Guard, Relentless Strikes and Whirlwind Blade would be good.

  • Jagged Edge – Increased damage at the cost of sword ammo.
  • Swordmaster’s Guard – Sword Guard has low overall defenses, but increases charge rate.
  • Relentless Strikes – Landing three light-attack hits within a short time grants Sword ammo.
  • Whirlwind Blade – Rapid sword strikes increase this weapon’s damage for a short duration. Guarding also ends the effect.

For PVP Jagged Edge, Heavy Guard, Unrelenting and Incandescent would be good.

  • Jagged Edge – Increased damage at the cost of sword ammo.
  • Heavy Guard – Sword Guard has high overall defenses, but lowers charge rate.
  • Unrelenting – Rapidly defeating targets triggers health regeneration. Guardians and powerful combatants count as more than one kill.
  • Incandescent – Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.

Let me know in the comments what you think of Just In Case and let me know your favourite rolls.
