AureusNeutralizer

How to get Aureus Neutralizer (Trials Hand Cannon) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Aureus Neutralizer is a spread-shot hand cannon added into Destiny 2 with the Edge of Fate. This is a Trials weapon, so you’ll have to dust off your PVP weapons and armor, and play some trials to get it. Today I am going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get the Aureus Neutralizer in Destiny 2.

How to get Aureus Neutralizer

Aureus Neutralizer is a Trials Of Osiris Exclusive weapon, meaning you have to play Trials. That’s only around from Friday until Tuesday, and you’ll need to speak to Saint-14, pick up a passage token, then play matches. You’ll get random rewards at the end of matches, including the Aureus Neutralizer.

You can also get an adept version by going to the lighthouse (or winning 7 matches without losing), but make sure you pick up a specific trials passage for this. Saint-14 features one Adept weapon per week, so make sure it’s the featured weapon, then get those wins to get the Adept version of Aureus Neutralizer.

Aureus Neutralizer

Aureus Neutralizer is a Legendary Kinetic Hand Cannon with a Spread Shot frame, meaning it fires a short range spread of pellets. Looking at the stats we have Impact 96, Range 25, Stability 14, Handling 23, Reload Speed 23, Rounds Per Minute 100, Magazine 7.

The origin traits are

Fleet Footed – Dealing damage grants you a short window of increased movement speed and airborne effectiveness. Landing a final blow increases these effects.

Roar of the Battle – Being in combat for a short duration increases handling and stability. Hakke Breach Armaments – This weapon deals increased damage against vehicles and constructs. Constructs include barricades, turrets, Stasis crystals, and other objects created in the field.

Aureus Neutralizer stands out as a strong choice in PvE, primarily due to its Spread-Shot archetype, which delivers impressive base damage. Perks like Trench Barrel synergize exceptionally well with Grave Robber, offering a powerful combo for close-range engagements. Another standout option is One-Two Punch, which pairs perfectly with the weapon’s infinite ammo nature, making it ideal for consistent brawling and melee-focused builds. For those looking to maximize DPS, Vorpal Weapon and Cascade Point are excellent alternatives—especially when combined with Lucky Pants, which can significantly amplify the weapon’s damage output.

In PvP, Aureus Neutralizer earns its place as a reliable pick due to its ease of use and infinite ammo, functioning much like a pocket shotgun. While it may not compete at long range, it excels in close-quarters combat, offering a dependable option when Special Ammo is scarce. Its effectiveness is further enhanced by several strong perk combinations, making it a deadly tool in the hands of skilled players. Overall, Aureus Neutralizer comfortably sits in the A-Tier for both PvE and PvP.
