A Sudden Death can be acquired through the chest in the Rite of the Nine social space, and can be attuned to there as well. It will drop from any encounter within the Prophecy dungeon at any level, and has the chance to drop as both an adept and a holofoil variant, with the latter rolling double perks.

A Sudden Death is a Legendary Energy Shotgun with an Aggressive Frame meaning it’s a hard-hitting, high recoil. Increases rate of fire after kill. Looking at the stats we have Impact 80, Range 24, Stability 26, Handling 24, Reload Speed 32, Rounds Per Minute 55, Magazine 4.

The Origin Trait is Crossing Over. This weapon has increased range and handling for the top half of the magazine, while rounds from the bottom half of the magazine deal increased damage.

A Sudden Death was already a pretty solid option for both PvE and PvP thanks to its Season of the Wish refresh, but now it can stand with the best. In PvE, ASD now rolls with both One-Two Punch and Trench Barrel, making it perfect for those close quarters fights and Synthos combos, and Paracausal Affinity amps your damage to a solid 20%! You can also get a bit goofy with Redirection by building stacks through Discord and then popping the charged shots off at the larger targets.

For PVE Barrel Shroud, Assault Mag, Repulsor Brace, Destabilizing Rounds, Masterwork Reload Speed

• Barrel Shroud – Increases stability, Increases handling speed
• Assault Mag – Greatly increases stability, Increases rate of fire
• Repulsor Brace – Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an overshield.
• Destabilizing Rounds – Defeating a target creates a Void burst; hitting other targets with this burst makes them volatile and grants you Volatile Rounds for a short duration.

• Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
