The Cadmus Ridge Lancecap is a great exotic armor piece to build a stasis and solar build. Today I’m going to put together the build, explain why it’s good, the gameplay loop, plus look in detail on how to put it together so you can use it yourself in Destiny 2.

Why this build is good
This build is nice and simple, and focuses on Stasis and Solar through our subclass, weapons and abilities. We throw down a barricade, get precision hits to spawn Diamond Lances. Then pick them up and throw them to freeze enemies in place. Our Diamond Lance’s are enhanced from Cadmus Rudge Lancecap, creating stasis crystals all over the place, freezing even more enemies and creating area of effect damage.
I’m also using Glacial Quake for our Prismatic Super, which allows us to dish out more high-impact stasis damage, plus stasis crystals. I’m also using the Glacier Grenade to create even more crystals.
As well as loads of stasis damage, we’re also using solar with Concencration and Frenzied Blade. Our melee gives us an extra charge, so we’re using this with Consecration to dish out devastating Solar damage, plus this works well with Sunshot, out Exotic Solar hand cannon to scorch and ignite enemies.

Cadmus Ridge Lancecap
Cadmus Ridge Lancecap is a Exotic Titan Helmet with the perk Lancer’s Vigil.
Lancer’s Vigil – Thrown Diamond Lances create Stasis crystals, with more created by hitting bosses and vehicles. While a Stasis Super is equipped, rapid precision hits and precision final blows from behind a Rally Barricade will create a Diamond Lance near you.
Get this from Master Rahool, once you have reset his ranks you’ll be able to select it from the third page of his inventory.
Prismatic Subclass Setup
Super – Glacial Quake, Summon a Stasis gauntlet. While your Super is active:
Heavy Attack: Slam your gauntlet down to create a shockwave that freezes targets and sends out Stasis crystals to freeze additional ones.
Light Attack: Supercharge your Shiver Strike for bonus damage. Sprint through Stasis crystals or frozen targets to shatter them instantly.
Class ability – Rally Barricade, Creates a small barrier that you can peek over while aiming down sights; increases weapon reload speed, stability, and range. Draws hostile fire when you stand behind it.
Melee – Frenzied Blade, Activate your charged melee ability to dash forward, slashing at targets in front of you and severing them.
Grenade – Glacier, A grenade that creates walls out of [Stasis] Stasis crystals to block damage and freeze targets; these walls can be shattered for damage.
Aspects
Diamond Lance – Shatter or defeat targets with abilities or Stasis weapons to create a Stasis lance.
Consecration – While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to launch a wave of Solar energy forward, damaging and scorching targets in front of you as you leap into the air. While airborne, activate your charged melee again to slam to the ground and create a second larger wave of damaging Solar energy. If the wave hits a scorched target, they ignite.
Fragments
Facet of Grace – Kinetic Weapon Kills grant an additional Light and Darkness Transcendence energy.
Facet of Courage – Light abilities deal 10% increased damage to enemies affected by Stasis or Strand elemental debuffs.
Facet of Hope – While you have an elemental buff, your class ability regenerates more quickly.
Facet of Protection – While surrounded by combatants, you are more resistant to incoming damage. While transcendent, the effect is increased.
Facet of Purpose – Picking up an Orb of Power grants either Bolt Charge, Restoration, Frost Armor, Woven Mail, or Overshield based on the damage type of your equipped Super.
Facet of Ruin – Increases the size and damage of the burst when you shatter a Stasis crystal or frozen target, and increases the area of effect of Solar ignitions.
Weapons
Tinasha’s Mastery (Stasis Rocket Sidearm)
Tinasha’s Mastery is a Legendary Stasis Sidearm with a Rocket-Assisted Frame meaning sidearm fires self-propelled rocket ammunition. Projectiles explode on impact for high damage. You can get it from Iron Banner and it’s perfect for Stasis and Prismatic builds.
Sunshot (Exotic Hand Cannon)
Sunshot is the only 150 rpm hand cannon left in the game, plus it’s an Exotic Energy Hand Cannon. Let’s check out the gun itself.
Sunburn – This weapon fires explosive rounds and highlights targets that take damage from Sunshot.
Sun Blast – Targets killed with Sunshot explode in Solar energy.
You can get this exotic hand cannon from Xur.
Qua Furor V (Machine Gun)
Qua Furor V is a Legendary Stasis Power Machine Gun with an Aggressive Frame which means high damage, high recoil. For the Origin Trait we have Wild Card. Final blows with this weapon have a chance to create experimental submunitions at the target’s location. Qua Furor V is a world drop weapon, meaning you’ll have to open legendary engrams, prime engrams and also gunsmith engrams to find the weapon.
Mods
Head
Harmonic Siphon – Spawns an Orb of Power upon scoring 2 Kills within seconds of each with a Weapon matching your Super Element.
Heavy Ammo Scout – When one of your ammo finder perks creates a brick of Heavy ammo for you, it also creates bricks of Heavy ammo for your allies.
Hands On – Gain bonus Super energy on melee kills.
Arms
Bolstering Detonation – Grants class ability energy when you cause damage with a grenade.
Heavy Handed – Powered melee creates orbs of power
Chest
Arc Resistance – Reduces incoming Arc damage from combatants.
Solar Resistance – Reduces incoming Solar damage from combatants.
Void Resistance – Reduces incoming Void damage from combatants.
Legs
Insulation – Reduces class ability cooldown each time you pick up an Orb of Power.
Recuperation – Replenishes health each time you pick up an Orb of Power.
Stasis Weapon Surge – Your Stasis weapons gain a small bonus to damage while you have any Armor Charge. Your Armor Charge now decays over time.
Class
Utility Kickstart – Collecting an Orb of Power causes you to gain 1 temporary Armor Charge.
Bomber – Reduces grenade cooldown when using your class ability.
Reaper – Shortly after using your class ability, your next weapon final blow spawns an Orb of Power.
