Titanium is one of the most sought after resources in Outriders as this is going to allow you to increase the rarity of your weapons. Today I am going to go over how to get Titanium in Outriders, so you can fill your pockets full of the stuff and never have to worry about increasing the rarity of your weapons again.
Let’s have a look at all the different methods for getting Titanium in Outriders.
Dismantle Epic and Legendary Gear
The first way to get Titanium is to break down Epic and Legendary gear. Early in the game, you may be reluctant to do this, especially with the legendary weapons, however, there’s going to be plenty of chance to get Epic and Legendary weapons as you play through Outriders, so I wouldn’t get too attached to a weapon. Another advantage of breaking down older gear as you level up is you get to collect the mods, which you can then slot onto other items to create better builds.
Increase World Tier
By increasing the World Tier you will start to get packages as you level up in Outriders. From World Tier 9 and above you’ll start to get Titanium resource packs each time you level up a World Tier. Also as you increase your World Tier your chances for drops of Titanium from loot chests and Ore locations increases, so increasing the world tier not only gives you instant Titanium resource packs, but you also get it out there in the wild dropping from various activities.
There are easy ways to farm World Tiers in Outriders. You can of course play the game, do the missions and the side quests and naturally level up. Some of the harder missions are going to slow your progress. I did make a guide for how to increase World Tiers quickly, and you can check out that guide here.
Buy it from Bailey
You can also buy Titanium from Bailey. Bailey can be found in your camp wherever you travel to. I think this can only be done once you have finished the main campaign in Outriders, but have a chat with her once you’ve finished and she’ll offer up Titanium in exchange for Scrap.
Another thing you can do is sell Iron and Leather to Bailey for Scrap, which you can then use to buy more Titanium. Given it’s much easier to get Iron and Leather while doing activities in Outriders, then this is one of the best ways to get plenty of Titanium.
Defeat Tough Enemies
By defeating harder enemies you’ll occasionally get Titanium to drop for you. Hard enemies can include Hunts and Wanted missions, look for the paw print and the sniper scope yellow icons on the map. These bounty missions are farmable too, so you can repeat the missions over and over to get more titanium. It won’t drop for you every time, but you can combine this with farming the bounties and then handing them to the vendors in the bar in Trench Town.
Each time you kill a Wanted Target or Hunt a Beast then you’ll get epic rewards. These can then be broken down for Titanium and the mods. Finally, you can combine the farming method for Titanium with hunting for Legendaries as the vendors will give you a legendary weapon and armour piece every time you do 10 bounties.
Mine Ore
The last method is to find the Ore locations on maps and mine them. At higher world tiers these are going to produce Titanium, but again, this is much rarer than breaking down epic and legendary weapons and defeating tougher enemies. Still, it’s worth giving it a go and getting into the habit of mining this ore every time you see them. At least you will be getting Iron from the Ores, which can be sold back to Bailey for Scrap, which can then be used to buy Titanium.
The key to most of this is raising the World Tiers, much like many activities in Outriders. Once you raise the World Tier, then the more epic gear will drop, you’ll get more valuable resources and then will any excess loot and resources you can break this down into Titanium or sell the rest to Bailey and she’ll give you a healthy amount of Titanium in return. Having a good stash of resources and mods are going to be key to creating great builds which you can take into the endgame in Outriders.
Let me know how you get on with farming Titanium in Outriders, and share any other methods you have found down there in the comments.
