The Edge of Fate expansion in Destiny 2 has introduced the Ahab Char, a Solar Rapid-Fire Auto Rifle that shares similarities with the BrayTech Werewolf but adds a new perk pool and solid PvE and PvP potential. Its standout feature is the Bray Legacy intrinsic perk—functionally similar to Thresh — which enhances its value for both casual and hardcore players. Whether you’re looking to clear adds in PvE or apply pressure in PvP, Ahab Char is a weapon worth chasing this season.
How to get Ahab Char
Available through The Edge of Fate Season Pass. Can also drop as a World Drop and as a reward from the Portal Activity.
Ahab Char
Ahab Char is a Legendary Energy Auto Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 18, Range 30, Stability 55, Handling 30, Reload Speed 45, Rounds Per Minute 720, and Magazine 50. This one has the Origin Trait called Bray Legacy which means damage with this weapon generates a small amount of ability energy for the one closest to a full charge.
Ahab Char is a surprising contender in the current meta, with exceptional PvE value and unique PvP utility. Whether you’re farming adds or pushing in Trials, grabbing a god roll early could pay off big later in the season.
