How to get Solemn Remembrance (Legedary Hand Cannon) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Solemn Remembrance is the new Competitve Crucible reward for this season, and it’s a good one, well worth getting into some competitive PVP for. Today I am going to take a closer look at Solem Remembrance, how to get it, plus the stats, perks and god rolls to get in Destiny 2.

How to get Solemn Remembrance

To get this one you’ll need to play Competitive Crucible. You can access this via the Portal. The weapon will drop after you’ve done your 7 placement matches. If Solemn Remembrance doesn’t drop, then you’ll need to pick up the previous Comp weapons, from Shaxx in the Tower. However, it should be straight forward in completing the 7 comp matches and then Solemn Remembrance dropping for you.

Solemn Remembrance

Solemn Remembrance is a Legendary Kinetic Hand Cannon with a Precision Frame meaning the recoil pattern on this weapon is predictably more vertical. Fires quickly with high accuracy. Move faster while aiming down sights with this weapon equipped.

Looking at the stats we have Impact 94, Range 43, Stability 59, Handling 38, Reload Speed 51, Rounds Per Minute 140, Magazine 10.

Solemn Remembrance doesn’t exactly set the world on fire in PvE. As a 140 RPM Hand Cannon, it falls right in the middle of the pack — not terrible, but far from standout. Its perk combo of Headstone and Firefly adds a bit of flair, and the new Rimestealer perk gives it some identity. But even with those in play, it struggles to keep up with more dominant options in the current sandbox.

In PvP, things look a bit more promising — at least on paper. Solemn Remembrance channels the legacy of Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten, thanks to its Precision Frame and 140 RPM archetype. That gives it a slight edge over Adaptive Frame Hand Cannons. Unfortunately, its relatively low aim assist stat holds it back when dueling against top-tier peers. That said, it’s not without tools — Lone Wolf is a consistent performer and helps mitigate aim assist issues, while Precision Instrument can push its range to respectable levels.

Solemn Remembrance god roll guide

For PVE Fluted Barrel, Tactical Mag, Headstone, Rimestealer, Masterwork Handling, Grip Textured Grip

In PvE, ease of use is king — and that’s where Fluted Barrel and Textured Grip come in. Both boost Handling, making the weapon feel snappier and more responsive. Tactical Mag is another solid pick, offering a couple of extra rounds in the mag and a slight bump to Reload Speed — especially handy if you’re leaning into Rimestealer instead of Firefly.

When it comes to perk slot 1, Headstone stands out as the top choice. It pairs beautifully with both second-column options, creating great synergy for add control and utility. Still, Impromptu Ammunition isn’t a bad fallback if you want something a bit different. For perk slot 2, it’s a toss-up between Firefly and Rimestealer. Firefly delivers explosive AoE potential, perfect for clearing groups, while Rimestealer adds survivability with Frost Armour — ideal for staying in the fight longer.

For PVP Smallbore, Accurised Rounds, Lone Wolf, Opening Shot, Masterwork Range, Grip Smooth Grip

When it comes to Hand Cannons in PvP, range is everything. To push your reach and stay competitive in duels, we recommend rolling with Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, and a Range masterwork — a tried-and-true trio for maximizing effective distance. For your grip, Smooth Grip is the standout choice, offering subtle but valuable boosts to both Handling and Stability — two stats that make a real difference in high-pressure engagements.
