Refusal of the Call is a glaive added to Destiny 2 as part of Episode Heresy. This is one of the best glaives we’ve seen to date, and given some of the perk combinations this is a devastating weapon to add in your arsenal. How to get Refusal of the Call

To get this one you’ll want to take part in Episode Heresy activities including The Nether and Court of Blades. You can find Refusal of the Call in chests dotted around The Nether. Also, it’s a potential drop from a boss fight in The Nether and also Court of Blades too. To focus farm this weapon use the Tomb of Want found in your inventory, and that will make it much more likely for Refusal of the Call to drop for you.

Refusal of the Call is a Legendary Strand Adaptive Glaive meaning you get a hybrid melee/ranged polearm with a frontal shield. Generates energy on dealing ranged damage. Looking at the stats we have Impact 80, Range 64, Shield Duration 44, Handling 60, Reload Speed 43, Charge Time 44, and Magazine 6.

We have a choice of Origin Traits with Willing Vessel and Runneth Over.

Willing Vessel – Dealing damage or defeating targets with this weapon gradually grants increased stability, handling, reload speed, and charge rate. This effect gradually decreases over time but is gained more quickly while near allies.

Runneth Over – Reloading near allies overflows the magazine. Bows receive faster draw time and Swords receive faster charge rate.

For PVE Tempered Truss Rod, Swap Mag, Discord, Sword Logic, Masterwork Handling

• Tempered Truss Rod – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly decreases reload speed, Slightly decreases range
• Swap Mag – Increases this weapon’s ready and stow speed.
• Discord – Final blows with another weapon grant this weapon increased speed for aiming down sights, accuracy, and airborne effectiveness for a short time. When Discord is active, final blows refund ammo.
• Sword Logic – Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. The strength and duration of the bonus increases when more powerful targets are defeated.
• Masterwork Handling

For PVP Ballistic Tuning, Accurized Rounds, Impulse Amplifier, Disruption Break, Masterwork Range

• Ballistic Tuning – Greatly increases range, Decreases shield duration
• Accurized Rounds – Increases range
• Impulse Amplifier – Massively increases projectile velocity, increases reload speed.
• Disruption Break – Breaking an enemy’s shield with this weapon makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief period.
• Masterwork Range
