How to get Noxious Vetiver (Legendary Submachine Gun) in Destiny 2

Noxious Vetiver is a new Submachine Gun added to Destiny 2 in Act 2 of Episode Revenant. This one is an arc SMG, which comes into a crowded space with Arc SMGs, however this one has some good rolls to make you look twice. Today I am going to check out the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Noxious Vetiver in Destiny 2.

How to get Noxious Vetiver

To get Noxious Vetiver you’ll want to take part in Tomb of Elders, which can be started from the Last City via the Director. It’s a random drop from the activity, or you can drink a Tonic from Eido to help you focus farm this weapon. Also, you’ll get the Noxious Vetiver as a reward for the Act 2 story, so keep playing through that and you’ll get a drop. To get additional rolls keep playing Tomb of Elders, and you’ll get plenty of drops as the activity is quite generous when it comes to loot.

Noxious Vetiver

Noxious Vetiver is a Legendary Energy Submachine Gun that deals arc damage. It has a Precision Frame meaning the this weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 25, Range 48, Stability 38, Handling 18, Reload Speed 19, Rounds Per Minute 600, Magazine 26.

The Origin Trait is Dark Ether Repeaer where finals blows with this weapon periodically spawn Dark Ether charges. Charges can be detonated early with weapons fire or by coming into contact with them. Doing so refills this weapon from reserves.

The overall sentiment for this weapon seems to be it’s decent, but there are other options with Voltshot on it, which could be better depending on your opinion on Voltshot vs Jolting Feedback. This is much more of a PVE weapon that a PVP weapon too, which more options in PVE compared to the Cruicble. It’s also a precision frame SMG, personally I prefer the 900 rpm weapons. I still think it’s a decent addition to the Revenant weapon set and worth getting a good PVE roll.

Noxious Vetiver god roll guide

For PVE Fluted Barrel, Flared Magwell, Loose Change, and Jolting Feedback

  • Fluted Barrel – Greatly increases handling speed, Slightly increases stability
  • Flared Magwell – Slightly increases stability, Greatly increases reload speed
  • Loose Change – Applying an elemental debuff to a target increases this weapon’s reload speed, aim assist, and movement while aiming down sights for a short duration.
  • Jolting Feedback – Dealing repeated damage with this weapon inflicts Jolt. While amplified, Jolt is applied faster.

For PVP Smallbore, Accurized Rounds, To The Pain, Target Lock

  • Smallbore – Increases range and stability
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range
  • To The Pain – While this weapon is equipped, taking damage increases handling and aim assist until the weapon is stowed. Taking more damage increases the effect.
  • Target Lock – Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target.

Let me know in the comments what you think.
