Breachlight has returned to Destiny 2 in Episode Echoes. This was a popular sidearm back in Season of Dawn, when Saint-14 was introduced to the game, but it’s back and now it’s a strand sidearm. Today I want to take a look at the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get Breachlight in Destiny 2.
How to get Breachlight
Breachlight can be obtained by completing any Episode Echoes related activities including the story missions and Breach Executable. Once you have the weapon, Breachlight can be focused with Failsafe located in The H.E.L.M. Breachlight cannot be crafted but can be granted enhanced perks.

Breachlight is a Legendary Kinetic Sidearm with a Heavy Burst meaning it fires a hard-hitting, two-round burst. Slightly reduces flinching from incoming fire while aiming. Looking at the stats we have Impact 56, Range 48, Stability 37, Handling 35, Reload Speed 23, Airborne Effectiveness 12, Rounds Per Minute 325, Magazine 25.
The Origin Trait is Cast No Shadow dealing melee damage refills 20 percent of the magazine and grants bonus handling.
Breachlight god roll guide
For PVE Smallbore, Appended Mag, Threat Detector, Desperate Measures, Reload masterwork
- Smallbore – Increases range, Increases stability
- Appended Mag – Increases magazine size
- Threat Detector – Increased reload, stability, and handling when enemies are in close proximity.
- Desperate Measures – Weapon final blows grant bonus damage. Melee and grenade final blows grant a larger damage bonus that can stack.
- Reload masterwork
For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds, Perpetual Motion, Swashbuckler and Range masterwork
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Perpetual Motion – This weapon gains bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion.
- Swashbuckler – This weapon gains increased damage from melee kills and kills with this weapon.
- Range masterwork
