How to get Claws of the Wolf (Legendary Pulse Rifle) plus god roll guide in Destiny 2

Claws of the Wolf has returned to Destiny 2 as part of Iron Banner in Echoes. This one is a deadly rapid-fire Pulse Rifle that’s going to help you delete Guardians in PVP, plus there are some decent rolls for PVE content too. Today I’m going to take a look at the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Claws of the Wolf in Destiny 2.

How to get Claws of the Wolf

To get this one you’ll want to play Iron Banner in Episode 1 Echoes. You can get this by levelling up with Lord Saladin, it’s unlocked at rank 4 on his rewards track, and you can find Lord Saladin in the Tower Courtyard. Play Iron Banner matches and complete challenges to rank up, plus if you wear Iron Banner armor and use Iron Banner weapons, you’ll get XP bonuses for quicker levelling. You can also get this as a random drop from the end of Iron Banner matches.

Claws of the Wolf

Claws of the Wolf is a Legendary Energy Pulse Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame meaning deeper ammo reserves. Slightly faster reload when magazine is empty. Looking at the stats we have Impact 23, Range 34, Stability 39, Handling 21, Reload Speed 27, Airborne Effectiveness 10, Rounds Per Minute 540, Magazine 34.

The Origin Trait here is Skulking Wolf which means while at low health, Guardian final blows with this weapon grant enhanced radar and remove you from opposing radar.

Claws of the Wolf god roll guide

For PVE Arrowhead Brake, Flared Magwell, Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds would be good.

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Flared Magwell – Slightly increases stability, Greatly increases reload speed
  • Repulsor Brace – Defeating a Void-debuffed target grants an overshield.
  • Destabilizing Rounds – Final blows cause nearby targets to become volatile.

For PVP Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Headseeker and Zen Moment would be good.

  • Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
  • Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
  • Headseeker – Body shots landed with this weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time. Body shots landed while the perk is active refresh the time.
  • Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon reduces recoil and flinch over time.
