Why this build is good
This build is all about ability spam including grenades, class abilities and uptime for your Arc and Solar buddies creating by our Exotic Armor and Aspects. We have great healing with Solar, plus survivability through devour and bolstered incoming damage resistance meaning this is going to be a great build for regular play and endgame PVE content too.
How to put this build together
Let’s look at how to put this together.
Prismatic Subclass
Super – Song of Flame (Solar)
Makes your equipped weapons radiant and enhances your abilities. While in your super you release a supercharged melee attack that launches additional projectiles. The grande creates a sentient flame wisp that seeks out targets and detonates in a scorching explosion, then seeks out other nearby targets. While Song of Flame is active, you and nearby allies regenerate abilities more quickly, are more resistant to incoming damage, and your Solar and Kinetic weapons scorch targets.
Melee – Arcane Needle (Strand)
Sling a woven needle that will embed in your target, unraveling them. Activate your melee ability again to chain up to two additional attacks.
Grenade – Storm Grenade (Arc)
A grenade that calls down a focused lightning storm. This is going to jolt targets.
Grenade – Transcendence Grenade (Void/Stasis)
Throw a mass of Void energy and Stasis matter. On impact, deploys a miniature black hole orbited by a slowing field. After a short duration, the black hole implodes, suppressing and dealing heavy damage to all nearby targets. This is going to weaken targets.
Class Ability – Phoenix Dive (Solar)
Dive to the ground and create a burst of Solar Light that cures nearby allies.
Aspects
Hellion (Solar)
Activate your class ability to summon a Solar mortar that lobs flaming projectiles at distant targets. Targets damaged by the mortar are scorched.
Feed the Void (Void)
Defeat a target with any ability to activate Devour. This gives us a good amount of health, plus an almost infinite stream of grenades.
Fragments
Facet of Dominance
Your Void grenades weaken targets, and your Arc grenades jolt targets. This is going to boost our grenades making us more effective on the battlefield.
Facet of Protection
While surrounded by combatants, you are more resistant to incoming damage. While transcendent, the effect is increased. This is going to help us stay alive.
Facet of Hope
While you have an elemental buff, your class ability regenerates more quickly. This is going to allow us to use our Phoenix Dive more often, which means more Solar Mortars and scorching enemies. This is up pretty much constantly because of the curing from the Phoenix Dive, being amplified, radiant and devour.
Facet of Balance
Rapidly defeating targets with Light damage grants melee energy. Rapidly defeating targets with Darkness damage grants grenade energy. Given we have solar and arc buddies from Getaway Artist and Hellion, this is going to boost our melee recharge rate. Arcane needle is going to help with boosting the darkness damage, plus if we have strand or stasis weapons then that’s going to add to this too.
Facet of Awakening
Rapidly defeating targets with Light or Darkness damage or Super final blows generates an elemental pickup of the matching damage type. This is going to constantly be creating ionic traces plus firesprites from our arc and solar buddies. Firesprites help restore grenade energy faster and ionic traces help restore all abilities faster, meaning your abilities will recharge very fast.
Artifact Mods
Shieldcrush – While you are amplified or radiant, your grenade recharges faster and deals increased damage.
Transference – Gain increased grenade and melee damage while transcendent. Weapon final blows while transcendent refund Light and Dark energy after Transcendence ends.
Galvanic armor – While you have an Arc or Prismatic subclass equipped, incoming damage from combatants is reduced while amplified.
Radiant Orbs – While you have a Solar or Prismatic subclass equipped, picking up an Orb of Power makes you radiant.
Exotic Armor
Getaway Artist
This comes with ‘Dynamic Duo’. Convert your Arc grenade into a Arc Soul and become amplified. The Arc Soul functions as an autonomous turret.
Weapons
Primary – Bold Endings
Bold Endings is a Legendary Stasis Hand Cannon with a Heavy Burst meaning it fires a hard-hitting, two-round burst. The Origin Trait here is Dealer’s Choice. Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of Super energy. Equipping multiple weapons from the Pale Heart increases this effect.
Energy – Axial Lacuna
This is a Solar Fusion Rifle, and it’s also a Pale Heart weapon, meaning it’s going to benefit from the Dealer’s Choice Origin trait, boosting your super.
Heavy – Pro Memoria
This is a heavy machine gun, again in the Pale Heart weapon family, activating Dealer’s Choice.

Strand Siphon – Rapid Strand weapon final blows create Orbs of Power

Firepower – Your grenade final blows create Orbs of Power.
Focusing Strike – Grants class ability energy when you cause damage with a powered melee attack.
