Prosecutor is a precision frame auto rifle added back into Destiny 2 as part of the mid season update in season of the wish. This is a reprised weapon returning as part of the Prophecy Dungeon loot refresh. Today I want to take a closer look at Prosecutor, plus check out the stats, god rolls, and how to get Prosecutor in Destiny 2.
How to get Prosecutor
To get Prosecutor you’ll have to enter the Prophecy Dungeon, which you can find in the Legends tab on the Director. Prosecutor is a reward from the first boss, and when you defeat the Phalanx you’ll get a chance at the weapon to drop. You can farm the encounter when the Prophecy Dungeon is the featured dungeon for the week, this is on rotation. I do a weekly reset update each tuesday letting you know which Dungeon is featured, so subscribe to EndgameXpress to never miss an update.
Prosecutor
Prosecutor is a Legendary Energy Auto Rifle with a Precision Frame meaning this weapon’s recoil pattern is more predictably vertical. Looking at the stats we have Impact 29, Range 60, Stability 42, Handling 46, Reload Speed 45, Airborne Effectiveness 10, Rounds Per Minute 450, Magazine 32.
The Origin Trait is Crossing Over where this weapon has increased range and handling for the top half of the magazine, while rounds from the bottom half of the magazine deal increased damage.
Prosecutor god roll
For PVE Arrowhead Brake, High-Caliber Rounds, Rewind Rounds, and Voltshot would be good.
- Arrowhead Brake – Greatly controls recoil, Increases handling speed
- High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
- Rewind Rounds – When this weapon’s magazine is empty, it refills from reserves based on the number of hits.
- Voltshot – Reloading this weapon after defeating a target overcharges this weapon for a short period of time, causing it to jolt on its next hit.
For PVP Hammer-Forged Rifling, Ricochet Rounds, Zen Moment and Target Lock would be good.
- Hammer-Forged Rifling – Increases range
- Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability, Slightly increases range
- Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon reduces recoil and flinch over time.
- Target Lock – Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
