Hullabaloo is a heavy wave frame grenade launcher added into the game as part of Guardian Games in Season of the Wish. Bungie has recently buffed this weapon type, so this is going to be very effective and it’s worth adding to your arsenal. Today I want to take a closer look at Hullabaloo, the stats, perks, god rolls, plus how to get Hullabaloo in Destiny 2.

How to get Hullabaloo

To get this one you have to take part in Guardian Games. Hullabaloo is a reward from the first event card, and you’ll get walked through the tutorial quest via Eva Levante. Pick up the quest from Eva, equip your class item, complete a match of supremacy, speak to Eva, deposit a medal and then speak to Zavala and you’ll get the Hullabaloo. Once you have it drop you can get additional drops from Eva Levante, or when you deposit medals.

Hullabaloo is a Legendary Power Grenade Launcher with a Compressed Wave Frame meaning projectiles release a wave of compressed energy when they contact the ground. Looking at the stats we have Blast Radius 50, Velocity 28, Stability 38, Handling 41, Reload Speed 39, Airborne Effectiveness 11, Rounds Per Minute 120, and Magazine 6.

The Origin Trait is Classy Contender where final blows with this weapon grant class ability energy.

Hullabaloo god roll guide

For PVE Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Voltshot and Chain Reaction would be good.

• Quick Launch – Greatly increases handling speed, Increases projectile speed
• High-Velocity Rounds – Increases projectile speed, Increases reload speed
• Voltshot – Reloading this weapon after defeating a target overcharges this weapon for a short period of time, causing it to jolt on its next hit.
• Chain Reaction – Each final blow with this weapon creates an elemental damage explosion.

For PVP Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Impulse Amplifier and Chain Reaction would be good.

• Quick Launch – Greatly increases handling speed, Increases projectile speed
• High-Velocity Rounds – Increases projectile speed, Increases reload speed
• Impulse Amplifier – Massively increases projectile velocity, increases reload speed.
• Chain Reaction – Each final blow with this weapon creates an elemental damage explosion.

Buffs

Bungie has also buffed this weapon, so it’s worth picking up

Increased reserve ammunition by 6 rounds at 0 inventory stat and by 10 rounds at 100 inventory stat.
Reduced Spike Grenade’s impact damage buff from 50% to 12.5%. With the below changes, this reduces the total Spike Grenades damage buff from about 8% to ~3%, making them less mandatory.
Increased direct hit impact damage by 10%.
Increased detonation damage by 5%. (This is offset by a 5% reduction to detonation damage in PvP.)
Increased Heavy Wave Grenade Launcher damage by 20%.
Increased Heavy Wave Grenade Launcher wave width by 40%.
