Deadpan Delivery is a returning shotgun that originally featured in the Red War Campaign at the start of Destiny 2, and it’s back in Season of the Witch. Today I want to take a closer look at the weapon, the stats, perks, god rolls for PVE and PVP, plus how to get Deadpan Delivery in Destiny 2.
How to get Deadpan Delivery
To get this one you’ll want to focus Witch Engrams at the Ritual Table in the H.E.L.M. There is a sepcific focusing option called Recovered Red War Weapons, and the loot pool is relatively small, therefore getting Deadpan Delivery from here should be easy. It can also drop from seasonal activities including Altars of Summoning and Savathun’s Spire.
Deadpan Delivery
Deadpan Delivery is a Legendary Energy Shotgun with an Aggressive Frame meaning high damage, high recoil. Looking at the stats we have Impact 80, Range 19, Stability 23, Handling 26, Reload Speed 30, Airborne Effectiveness 2, Rounds Per Minute 55 and Magazine 4.
We have a choice of origin traits for this one
- Vanguards Vindication – Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of health.
- Nadir Focus – Sustained fire increases accuracy and range. Increases lunge distance for Swords, and projectile velocity for Launchers.
Deadpan Delivery god roll guide
For PVE Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Overflow, One-Two-punch would be good.
- Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
- High-Caliber Rounds – Slightly increases range
- Overflow – Picking up Special or Heavy ammo automatically loads this weapon beyond normal capacity.
- One-Two-punch – Hitting an enemy with every pellet in a shot increases melee damage for a short duration.
For PVP Corkscrew Rifling, High-Caliber Rounds, Elemental Capacitor, Killing Wind would be good.
- Corkscrew Rifling – Slightly increases range and stability, Slightly increases handling speed
- Accurized Rounds – Increases range
- Elemental Capacitor – Increased stats based on the currently equipped subclass. [Solar] increases your reload speed. [Arc] increases handling. [Void] increases stability. [Stasis] moderately controls recoil and increases movement speed when aiming down sights. [Strand] increases airborne effectiveness.
- Killing Wind – Final blows grant increased mobility, weapon range, and handling for a short duration.
