Blast Furnance is a former Forge weapon from the Black Armory set of weapons, similar to Hammerhead. This is an agressive frame pulse rifle in the kinetic slot, and it’s great in both PVE and PVP. Today I’m going to take a closer look at the weapons, the stats, perks, god rolls plus how to get Blast Furnance in Destiny 2.
How to get Blast Furnance
To get Blast Furnance you’ll want to play Onslaught and it’s a random drop from that activity. If you play legendary difficulty then it’s more likely you’ll get double perks, and more chance for the god roll.
If you want to target farm Blast Furnance, then pick up the quest from Arcite in the Hall of Champions and complete that. It’s relatively quick, you’ll have to get machine gun kills and I recommend the Shuro Chi location in the Last Wish raid to get it done quickly. Once you complete this quest, you’ll be able to attune Blast Furnance which increases your drop chance by 50%, from the chest next to Shaxx plus drops in Onslaught.
Blast Furnance
Blast Furnance is a Legendary Kinetic Pulse Rifle with an Aggressive Burst meaning it’s a hard-hitting four-burst fire. Looking at the stats we have Impact 35, Range 79, Stability 64, Handling 24, Reload Speed 36, Airborne Effectiveness 15, Rounds Per Minute 450, and Magazine 39.
The origin trait here is Indomitability where final blows grant grenade energy when playing a Light subclass or melee energy when playing a Darkness subclass.
Blast Furnance god roll guide
For PVE Kinetic Tremors and Firefly would be a good roll.
- Kinetic Tremors – Sustained kinetic damage to a target emits a shockwave that damages any nearby targets.
- Firefly – Precision kills with this weapon increase reload speed and cause the target to explode, dealing Solar damage to nearby enemies.
Kinetic Tremors is very good at the moment, and it works well with agressive pulse rifles given you can activate Kinetic Tremors in 3 bursts. Firefly is always good in PVE, given you explode enemies with precision kills.
For PVP Headseeker and Kill Clip would be a decent roll.
- Headseeker – Body shots landed with this weapon increase precision damage and aim assist for a short time. Body shots landed while the perk is active refresh the time.
- Kill Clip – Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.
Headseeker is powerful in this sandbox right now and increases precision damage when you hit body shots. Headseeker is pretty much a must have on pulse rifles right now, and works especially well on agressive frame pulses. Kill Clip gives a 25% damage boost after getting a kill, so this is going to work great in 6s and Trials.
